War on the Wall

I turn on the TV and can't believe what I see, sitting in awe as I hear that men were shot down as they storm the borders of the wall of a country they're at war against,

Media says that innocents were killed and call it murder,
But how is it murder when it's self defence,
Saving others from fifty of sixty men armed and firing, throwing bombs over the fences as they run closer shooting, using humans as shields- progress of their recruiting of civilians for a cause they know will end in violence,

Now the world sits in silence as they believe marketed media that only shows the death count,
Saying nothing of the amount of civilians who would've been slaughtered on the other side if the terrorists made it through the strip,
Four thousand families in danger from a terrorist invasion,
A nation in crisis from frequent attacks from Hammas and Isis,

All because Jerusalem was named the capital of Israel,
Now it's like a capital crime to be involved or associated with them because in this time-
It's all about the camera and the wide spread lies that only a few realise,

And they try to spread the truth but it gets buried under people refusing to see the proof.

A/N
This is a very political poem. It is not meant to offend anyone, rather, it is meant to educate.
This poem is regarding the shooting at the Gaza border. Israel has been the target of attacks both terrorist and media related for years without responding. An estimate of 60 rockets are fired into Israel per day. Most are luckily shot down before damage is caused.
