"Ah~" I think this is one of the best ice cream flavours I've ever had! I scoop another bite of the [fav] ice cream into my mouth and let it melt on my tongue for a moment longer enjoying its flavour.

Luciel chuckles softly causing me to pull myself out of my thoughts to look at him, puzzled by his action. We lock eyes then he smiles his cheeks flushed a light rosy pink. Was he sunburnt? I didn't think it was sunny enough but Luciel's face is red. "What is it?" I ask tilting my head to the side "it's nothing particularly important, but..."

Luciel leans out of his chair towards me reaching his finger towards the corner of my lips, grazing my skin gently before sitting back in his seat. My face heats up at the sudden gesture Luciel smiles holding up his finger some of the ice cream resting on his finger. "Oh geez.... that's a little embarrassing" I mutter to myself "nope, just cute."

"W-what?" Luciel licks his fingers ignoring how I was stumbling over my words "ah, what a nice flavour~" My heart pounds furiously against my rib cage feeling as if it was going to burst from my body at any moment. I clutch my chest holding the fabric of my shirt firmly as I tried to catch my breath. Thankful Luciel was too distracted by talking about ice cream flavours to notice.

Calm down. Calm down. Calm down, Y/n! Luciel is always like this. He always acts funny with his cute jokes and cute gestures... looking at me with his sunny yellow eyes, flowing fiery red, orange hair and shining pale skin. I let a huff escape my lips mesmerized when looking at Luciel. Suddenly he stops talking and looks at me with concern "is everything alright?" I mentally slap myself bringing my attention back to reality.

Pull yourself together, Y/n.

"Yep! It's pretty hot out here, that's all" I laugh fanning my face. Luciel smirks "well that's because I'm here. Of course it's hot" I squint at Luciel with an unimpressed face as he laughs to himself over his own joke. "I'm going home" I hissed as I stood from my seat "no, wait! I was kidding!" I smile taking back my seat "so cruel..." Luciel whined with his head hung low in disappointment "I know~"

Luciel sighs in defeat but then slips his hand into his pocket pulling out some money. He places it on the table and I set our bowls on top of it to keep it from being blown away by the wind. Luciel stands from the table "are you sure that's enough money?" I ask standing with him, he nodded his hand "the ice cream isn't that expensive here. I gave them quite a bit in tips. Don't worry, don't worry" Luciel smiles beginning to walk away. "Hey!"

I push in our chairs and make my way after him. "You can be such a slob sometimes, at least tuck in your chair" I scowl "oh ho" Luciel laughs pushing my nose I smack the back of his head in response crossing my arms slightly flustered. Suddenly from beside us an old lady chuckled softly. Her gaze was gentle and fragile like a flower.

I let my arms fall to my sides as she spoke. "Oh, the young couples these days. So energetic!" "Oh we're not-" "and sweet as candy" Luciel pipped in. The old lady smiled once again "aren't you a sweet one. Honey you have yourself a good man" as I was about to correct her that Luciel and I weren't a couple I felt Luciel's hand reach for mine intertwining his fingers with my own.

I press my free hand to my forehead slightly embarrassed, but happy.
"T-thank you" I stammer as the blood ran to my face "no need to be embarrassed sweetheart. I also was in love like yourself, be proud. I'll be off now, have a good day you two!" Luciel smiles waving good bye while I stood flabbergasted by what had happened. Luciel turns his head to me and smiles "one day I'll turn into an old woman." Luciel began walking pulling me by the hand.

"You mean man?" I question with confusion "don't ruin this Y/n. I'm trying to imagine my future." Suddenly an image of Luciel hit by old age cosplaying as a grandmother enters my mind causing a shiver to go down my spine. "You have costumes you use for work why not cosplay as an old woman" I joke thinking out loud. "Oh~ clever girl! That's what I'll do!" Did I just say that out loud? Dang it!
