They say if you continue to dwell on your past, you're never going to get the chance to properly move forward. So I tired my best to forget about everything that bothered me or left me in questioning, but sometimes I feel the hands of my darkness pulling me underneath the water I've been trying to tread. Then I start to remember.
Then I start to question.
What ever happened to Saeran? My first friend. I knew I was being foolish for being so caring for a person I hadn't see that many times, but we connected and became friends nearly instantly plus he was my best friends brother. I never had something so amazing happen to me like that. It was special.... but they all told me to forget about him.
When I first asked Rika about Saeran without telling her my knowledge on the situation, she explained to me that he's in paradise and I shouldn't worry about him. Rika's answer confused me so I decided to ask V, but he seem to be extremely unnerved and turned away from me with out an answer. It was also strange how firm he was on me, not to say anything to his brother, "it's for his protection."
V and Rika weren't hiding something, right?
Eventually I gave up asking questions in general... for Luciel's sake. I learnt rather quickly that in this world somethings were not meant to be questioned but rather told when the second party was ready.
"Y/n! Luciel is here!" I lift my head from my journal and slam it closed, tucking it away in the desk drawer I was sitting at before rushing towards the door. Poking my head around the corner I notice V and Luciel chatting quietly in front of the door. Luciel tilts his head past V and points at me "damn who's that girl~?" V turns slightly noticing my presence. "You don't recognize Y/n, Luciel?" V questioned confusion present on his face.
I laugh and walked towards the two of them "he's just kidding around V." It's been over two and half years since I've seen Luciel because of his work. I'm unsure what he does for a living, but it has something to do with hacking. Luciel also changed during that time. He had to hide everything about himself because of "dangers" as I was told. Sometimes I wonder....
Is this the Saeyoung I once knew?
"She's right V! You can never forget a princess.... Is Rika here?" I shook my head "she's arranging some documents for the RFA at her apartment" I explained sticking my hands in the pockets of my jeans. Even though Luciel and I kept in touch over the messenger I felt a wave of awkwardness flutter in the pit of my stomach. It appeared Luciel wasn't experiencing the same thing since he continued to joke around with V and I.
"Oh ho! I'm starting to get hungry. Y/n, how about I treat you before we head to Seven's secret lair" Luciel raises his hands in front of him wigging his fingers like spiders. "Sounds great" I smile turning my head towards V "aw... your supposed to act scared! Anyways, we'll be off V. Take care of yourself" Luciel smiles giving V a salute. V chuckles "thanks Luciel. Take care of Y/n" "yes sir! Y/n will be well protected since she has Seveny by her side~"
"I'll see you later V. Tell Rika I left her a couple things for her in my room when she gets back" "of course. Enjoy yourself" V smiled placing a hand on my shoulder seeing me off as Luciel opened the door. As I step outside the door closes gently behind me, the sun's rays flushed my skin with its warmth causing me to shiver happily. "Y/n! This. Is. My babe!" I hurry towards Luciel watching him present his car like some sales man.
In simple terms it was a red sports car that shined in the light of the sun. "Wow. It's more beautiful in person" I explain scanning over the car. Luciel was very fond over his expensive car, examining how clean and polished it was; proved it all. Luciel opens the passenger door "ma' lady" he said in a teasing tone "oh~ what a gentleman" I smiled as I got into the car. "Wow, even the interior is amazing" I muttered quietly under my breath.
