Chapter 25
Y/n's POV
When I come to I'm met with the cold hard floor. The room was dark and my vision was blurry as I tried to become aware of my surroundings. Groaning I try to push myself off the floor but notice something was binding my wrists together.
Bringing them close, a rope was wrapped tightly to hold my hands together. Instantaneously I'm reminded that I was attacked by a stranger, but strangely I can't remember anything else after that. What happened after that? Well, one thing for sure is that I got caught. "I need to get out of here" I huff as I sluggishly pushed myself to my knees, then my feet.
My head aches, pulsating with pain as I try to think of a solution to escape, so I stop and look around. It appeared that I was in a bedroom lit by the moon through large glass windows. There was a bed and several expensive decorations that were placed around the room. Anyone who found themselves with in it would feel like a princess.
Continuing to glance around my gaze stops to a vase full of red roses that sat on a small table. Moving towards them with curiosity I reach out to touch one of the petals but jerk away from them at the sound of a door opening. "You're awake. I guess this is perfect timing" the voice hummed with glee.
Turning on my heel a figure stands in front of the door closing it all the way behind them. "Who are you? Why did you bring me here?" I bombarde the stranger with questions but they only laugh at my attempt to be brave. I watch as the slender figure slowly lets their fingers slide off the door handle and approaches. As they got closer my heart began to pound faster. In attempt to create distance I step back until I bump into the table ratting the vase.
"You're such an idiot... to be honest a dirty scum like you doesn't even deserve this room, but that stupid Ray thinks you deserve a better welcoming."
Ray?
"What's the point of this when I'm just going to leave you to rot in front of my saviour? She doesn't deserve to see such a pathetic creature." The figure stops in front of me the moon's light now shinning upon his face. For a moment I'm baffled. Am I really seeing what I'm seeing? Tears overwhelm my eyes as I step forward.
"Saeran? Is that you?"
"Who are you to think you can speak my name! Stay away from me!" Saeran lunges at me, striking my face painfully hard. I fall to the ground my body shuddering on impact. It takes a moment for me to realize what had happened and for the pain to settle in. I groan withering in pain, Saeran lets out a laugh but then steps back holding his head.
"Don't hit Y/n!"
"She's an idiot why do you care? Stay out of this!"
"You can't treat a her like that!"
"Shut up you idiot!"
Huh?
I sit in confusion watching Saeran scream at himself back and forth like there's two people in the room. My eyes dart around the room as fear creeps up my shoulders, heart beating at the speed of a cheetah. Suddenly I fixate on the door Saeran entered through.
That's it!
Adrenaline kicking in I scrambling to my feet and bolt towards the door. "Haha! Where do you think you're going?!?" As I run Saeran's hand latches in to my h/l hair causing me to stumble over my feet. As my back collides into the floor the oxygen in my lungs is ripped out of my grasps leaving me gasping desperately for air. "Y/n, are you okay!?" Saeran looks at me with worry and I immediately flinch away scurrying towards the wall letting out heavy breaths.
