Kaycees POV

"You guys have to let me go alone."

I sigh and they frown. "What?" Tony asks and I sigh.

"I never told you guys cause, I really didn't have a clue at the time. I was still at school. I was still so confused about, well in general, I was confused about myself. I mean, random visions and spurts of energy coming out of my body as I also was super strong just came all at once." I glare at tony then glaring at Thor. "Thanks for keeping me in the dark. Anyways.." I sigh, looking around.

"Doctor Strange kinda visited my school by accident. Maybe he was training to be the wizard or something, I don't know." I shrug and they frown. "But anyways, the time stone was right there, at my feet. I was holding it." I say and tony widens his eyes. "Doctor Strange took it back but if I travel alone, take the stone from my past self before Dr Strange takes it, it'll be much easier." I explain.

"Well what are you gonna say to your past self if you see yourself?" Steve asks and I shrug. "I don't know, but I know if I saw myself, I would think it's another stupid vision I was having. I just gotta make sure it was only me seeing me." I say and I look at tony.

"You wanna go alone?" He asks and I nod. "I'll go with yo-."

"No." I cut him off. "They need you okay. Trust me to go alone." I say and he stares at me in thought. "Fine." He mumbles and I smile up at him. "I'll be okay." I tell him and he nods.

"Well, everyone go home, sleep. Be ready for tomorrow." Steve says and I look at Nat, wanting to talk to her. She meets my gaze and smiles, but raises a brow when I only give her a small smile back.

As everyone starts to leave, I stay on the table, staring down at my feet. "Hey kayc, you coming?" I hear Tony's voice and I look at him, shaking my head. "I have to do something first, but I'll be back at home before midnight." I say, seeing how it's already 11:15. He takes a breath before nodding, then walks out the door.

"You okay?"

I look at Nat and sigh. "What do I do Nat?" I ask and she frowns. I move over to the other side of the table, patting the spot next to me so she can sit down. "What do I do when I get there? What if I see him?" I ask as I stare down at my lap. "Hey, I can't tell you what to do when that happens, all I can say is do what you need to do. If you need to talk to him, talk to him. If you need to hug him, hug him. Kiss him if you want to. Okay? But just think about your surroundings and how everything is going to play out if you do those things." She says and I lean my head on her shoulder.

I feel a tear rub down my cheek and onto Natasha's shirt and I sniffle, getting up and chuckle. "Sorry.." I mumble and she smiles at me. "It's fine. Go home, get some rest okay? Have a good start tomorrow to prepare yourself." She says and I smile at her.

As we get off the table, I wrap my arms around her, my chin resting on her shoulder as I'm around the same height at her. "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." She smiles as we pull away and I nod. "Thank you." I smile at her and she grins. "Anytime." She grins and I take a breath. Before I step away, she stops me.

"Ay, just don't die on me over there okay? I better see you here when we all come back." She jokes and I smile. "You don't die on me, and we won't have an issue." I joke back, causing the both of us to chuckle.

We both go different directions, my feet leading me to the entrance. I take in a breath as I stare at the sky, wanting to do one last thing before I go home.

I jump up, now flying over the facility and to the memorial of the lost. (The one Scott was at after he came out of the quantum realm) Flying down, I look at the names, searching for a particular one. But I stop when I see his name.

Ned Leeds.

I hold back tears as I stare at his name, then moving onto another. Then I stop again, seeing her name.

Michelle Jones.

I feel a tear slip down my cheek. Suddenly remembering all the conversations we've had about the most random things ever. I slightly smile at the memory. Moving my legs again, I search for a name. Looking everywhere, I still can't find it. When I'm about to give up, my feet stop as I see it, staring down at the letters engraved in concrete like the rest.

Sean Lew.

My fingers trace over the letters of his name, feeling the cold concrete beneath my fingers. Tears now fall freely, remembering everything. If I could just go back and tell him I loved him before, we would've had more time.

I close my eyes, wiping the tears away before taking a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. My feet slowly lifting off the floor. Soon I find myself back home, seeing tony outside on the porch looking at his watch.

"Did I make it before midnight?" I ask and his head snaps towards me, I see him release a breath. "Just in time." He says as he stands up. "Why are you outside. Isn't it cold?" I ask as I open the door for him before walking in after.

He doesn't answer my question, making me frown as I see him walk upstairs. "Hey tony." I say and he looks back at me. "I'm going to be okay." I say as I walk up to him. "Okay?" I repeat and I see tears threatening to fall.

I wrap my arms around him as he does the same, pulling me in tighter. "Please come back. Please be safe." He mumbles and I squeeze him a little tighter to reassure him.

"I will. I promise."

An early update since I've been slacking off so much.
