I'm sorry it's complicated

"Taking it all in Michelle?" The teacher ask as the team is celebrating they're win. "Uh Yea I just don't really wanna.. um I don't wanna celebrate something that was built by slaves." Michelle answers as she looks at the building. "Oh I'm sure the Washington Monument wasn't built by..." the teacher stops as the guard looks at him with a look saying 'well it kinda was'.

"Okay, enjoy your book" the teacher says as he starts to walk away. "Thanks" Michelle replies back.

"No asguardians came."

"I know ned" I whisper back and he sighs. "Maybe they couldn't get pass security?" He says and I shrug. "Good thing we're here, the security is better" I chuckle.

I see kaycee run in with Liz and Mia, flash and the rest of the team running in as Ned follows. I was about to walk in when I see Michelle outside. I walk to her and she smiles at me. "Why aren't you going inside?" I ask and she sighs. "Don't really wanna go in something that wa-."

"Built by slaves?" I ask and she nods with a chuckle. "Hey, good job." She says and I frown. "For well, I guess at the decathlon, but mostly for looking after kaycee" she says and I smile. "She's going through a lot. Those type of things shouldn't be gone through alone" I reply back simply and I see a grin form on her face.

"You like her don't you."

My face heats up.

"Yea, as a friend" I say and she gives me that look. "As if. Don't act like you weren't shirtless and singing to her to calm her down. Oh and the way you held her, boi." She starts and I chuckle.

"What else was I supposed to do? It calmed her down right?" I say awkwardly trying to cover it up. "What if it was me huh? Would you do that?" She says and I scratch the back of my head. "Yeah?" I say and she burst out laughing. "Nice try Lew"

I hear a loud noise and look at the building. Parts of the top of the building cracking.

"Uh.." I look at Michelle and I walk back as she's to busy looking at the building to realise me leaving. I get my bag and run to some bushes. Taking my clothes off as my suits underneath and put my mask on.

"Karen What's happening?" I ask as I run out and look at the building.

"It looks like human activity caused the elevator to stop. A malfunction. Only someone with ginormous amounts of strength could break the engines."

Widening my eyes I stare at the building.

Asguardians.

"Looks like there are 8 people in there, with a large trophy like shape. All with other smaller objects"

Shitshitshitshit.

"Hey! My friends are in there!" Someone shouts and I see Michelle behind me. "What!" I quickly shout and widen my eyes. "Oh don't worry ma'am everything's gonna be okay" I say I'm a deeper voice.

I run, jumping up and climbing onto the Washington Monument. "This is a tall building" I say to myself in annoyance as I try to get to the top as fast as I can.
