"What are you doing?"

I called out to my best friend Thomas who was sitting on his couch with his hands to his head "I'm trying to think of some ideas for content on my channel but recently, I have nothing. I don't know if it was the interference with Remus or what but- I don't have a good feeling about it" Thomas sighed. "What about Virgil? How's he been doing?" I asked "I-Uh.. I haven't seen him in a while.." Thomas said sadly.

"Why would he just leave?" Thomas looked down guiltily "He told me he- he was a dark side.." I groaned "I know, Thomas, I was there. I mean- Why did he leave?" Thomas shrugged trying to think of all ideas "M- Oh no..." Thomas's eyes widened and I instantly got the idea "Do you think- he went back?" Thomas gasped "No.. Why would he??" I shook my head "He had to keep them away, and being here wasn't working..." I put a hand on my chest to stabilize my feelings.

"But- We need him here!" Thomas cried out "Do you think he'll come back?" I questioned "Not by himself, he won't. I know this is a lot to ask but they can't be the only one's to go.. Y/n.." Thomas turned to me and held my hands tightly "Could you travel to the mindscape and get him back?" Thomas requested and I accepted.

"Anything for you, you are my best friend." I smiled to him "I- The sides will need to take you.." Thomas snapped his fingers and they all arrived instantly excluding Virgil "Roman, Logan, Patton, Can you's and Y/n get Virgil back?" Roman's eyes squinted confusingly "I- How are we gonna do that?" Logan stepped in "We'll travel to the dark side, we'll then take him from the others." Patton seemed very hesitant "Do you think we'll really be able to do it?" 

I nodded my head "We can try, that's all that's really needed." Logan disagreed "We need to succeed." I sighed "What are the odds that we won't?" I asked Logan "47% roughly as of now, may change however." Roman shook his head profusely "Wait a diddly darn second, Thomas! Did you say Y/n was coming with us?" Thomas nodded "She- sh- She can't!" Roman tried. "Why not?" I asked "t- You aren't used to being there. You don't know-" Roman covered his mouth and Logan looked over to me.

"Do we have a plan?" Patton interrupted "I-uh.. No" Thomas lay back down on the couch, he looked like a mess and I felt so bad for him, my bestest friend in the up most pain. "Well- I go on quests all the time! I bet I can make a plan!" Roman boasted "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Let the professional handle this." Logan pushed Roman over and got a huge piece of parchment out, sketching the plan.

"The mindscape changes but it still the same. The different places in Thomas's head always change but the route/ path never do, so if we follow this then we shall be fine.. Unless we are not" Logan explains "What do you mean 'unless we are not' ?" Patton asked "Well.. My knowledge on the mind scape is pretty outdated" Logan told us.

"Guys- Please, just go" Thomas begged us "I mean- Planning is the best thing to do but with all these thoughts, it's making me not want you guys to go and I know you's have to." Thomas started crying, tears fell from his eyes and rolled down his cheeks. "I hate seeing you like this, Thomas. Don't worry. We will stop at nothing to make sure you're okay again." I announced bravely. 

"Very well, goodnight Thomas." Logan walked over to Thomas and put a hand on his head, making him fall asleep instantly. Logan, Roman, and Patton were starting to fade so in that little time they had, they knocked me out. I fell to the ground, not getting hurt but still not liking how they did that.

I woke up with the other's surrounding me "Is this it?" Logan shook his head "This- This is too new.." Logan looked around in shock "This used to be where we lived- What happened? How did it all change so fast?" Logan was searching around for answers "Well- Thomas always changes his mind" Patton makes a joke, getting shunned by the sides for it and feeling bad "sorry." He mumbled. 

 "I have a feeling we're gonna get lost." Roman frowned "Should we split up?" Patton asked and almost everyone agreed "no! If we're together then there's no chance of anything being able to take us down and-" The sides had already disbanded and I was feeling lost. I never lived here. I didn't understand where I was- but a part of it felt familiar.

I sat down where I was, not knowing where to head to when I got some bad thoughts. Where were the other sides going to? What if they get hurt without you? I wished I had gone with one of them instead of just standing here.. I was going to leave when I saw the room begin to change again, the stairs shifted and someone came out from one of the rooms- Who were they? 

"Hey!" I called out to them and they looked over to me, wide eyed and looking embarrassed. The person waved to me and beckoned for me to come over "What are you doing here?" He asked me in a concerning tone "Depends. Who are you?" He smirked "I'm annoyance" I nodded "Have you seen Virgil, Deceit, Remus, Roman, Logan, or Patton around here recently?" He nodded "Yeah, Remus should be right through that door" I whipped around.

I groaned, what if he was lying to be annoying? I turned back around and saw he was gone. I guess I had no other choice. I walked over and opened the door he told me to open, seeing nothing but darkness, I stumbled in. I looked everywhere for something- anything!
