My eyes fluttered open slowly, darkness still surrounding my bedroom. I looked across to my clock and saw it was 5 in the morning, I then continued to stare around my room to make myself fall asleep when I saw something odd in the corner. In the corner of the room in the corner of my eye, the darkest space, I tried my best to get an idea of who it was but didn't make any sense of who it would be. My mind flashed to a similar thought, Remus would possibly do this? But why would he be in my room? And how? We locked him up in the car.

I decided to just flat out ask who it was. I sat up a bit on my pillows and stretched "Who's there?" I whispered quietly, not getting a direct answer. "Who is it? I can see you." I said again a bit aggressively "sshhh! You don't wanna wake them, do you?" He stood out of the shadows and in the piercing light from the moon I was able to see who it was who was stalking me. "Roman, what are you doing here??" I was shocked, at a loss for better words. "Saving you of course!" I shook my head at him, thinking and hoping so badly that it was a dream and that I'd be waking up soon. 

"Oh no, did they poison your brain?" Roman came over and sat with me, rubbing my back sympathetically and talking to me in a cooing voice. "How did you get in here?" I was still half asleep so it was really hard to keep awake, "I took Remus's spot in the car and waited until everyone went to sleep to come find you." He told me. "A-Are you mad?" I was hesitant to ask but knew it was going to be brought up anyways "Why would I be mad? You should be. The dark sides stole you and Virgil away from us and made you live here!" Roman exclaimed rudely "D-did you get Virgil?" my voice was starting to shake as my lip quivered in fear. I promised him I wouldn't leave. 

"Yes, I've gotten him just before you, he's still asleep though. So cute." Roman chuckled "I-I- so there's nothing stopping Deceit and Remus coming to find us?" Roman thought for a moment "No, why?" He looked at me "What if they hear us?" I tried my best to play along. "We'll just have to be quiet then- also- you don't have to worry about Remus. I tied him up to a tree outside." Roman laughed to himself "Aw, you're crying- I'm happy too!" He reached out and bought me into a tight hug. "Okay, then let's get going" I gave him an awkward smile. Roman nodded his head, getting up and sneaking out through my bedroom door, heading down the stairs. I didn't know what to do, I never planned for this, I didn't think it'd be happening so soon. 

Instead of going down the stairs, I went along the hallway swiftly and knocked on Deceit's door. His door slid open, his sleeping body lay on the bed peacefully "What are you doing?" Roman came back up the stairs and asked me "I'm just checking he's asleep." I reassured him "Just go down, I'll be with you in not long." I gave him a smile which gave him the strength to leave me alone up here by myself. Roman trudged down the stairs carefully, the floor boards still creaking hoarsely.

I popped into Deceit's room, walking over to him and shaking him awake violently "O-Ow- What the- Y/n? Why are you up?" Deceit looked awfully tired "Roman's in here! He's stolen Virgil and he's taking me!- Remus is also tied up to a tree somewhere." I informed Deceit quickly. My jaw dropped when I heard the sound of Roman coming back upstairs, a cutting sound dragging along the wall. The familiar sound of him ruining the walls with his sword whenever he'd get angry or upset. "Get in the closet." Deceit whispered to me, getting up and getting ready to defend his family. I rushed over to his wardrobe, pulling it open and sliding inside. 'wow, Deceit barely has any clothes..' I thought to myself. I leaned up against the door and pressed my ear to the wood, trying to hear what I could of what was happening outside.

"Pepper spray." I heard lots of murmuring. Out of curiosity, I was edged to take a peek. I looked through a crack in the wardrobe and saw Deceit on the ground still trying his best to fight Roman, his face looked like he was being burned alive, I really had no idea what to do. I didn't want to go with Roman, but I didn't want Deceit to get hurt- I didn't want anyone to get hurt.. "Give us Y/n, you know she's ours!" Roman kicked at Deceit "Wrongo! She's MINE!" Deceit shouted back angrily, clawing at Roman's leg until it bled. "I'll burn this place down to find her if I have to!" Roman pushed Deceit off of him "What if she doesn't want to leave?" Deceit asked cockily "Then she'd be a bad person, anyone that likes the bad sides are definitely bad too." Roman seemed delirious. 

"Would you leave her alone though?-" Roman struck at Deceit again "No- We'd take her back to fix her." Roman informed with steam coming out of his ears. My ears sprung up at hearing the sound of a loud crash from outside, the noise ringing around my head violently like the feel of scraping your teeth along a fucking rock, not that it's been done before by me, but could be easily imagined as something terrible. I peeked through again, seeing Deceit look over to me for a split second and wink before turning back to Roman and putting on a show "D-Dang it, Y/n, y-you don't know how to be quiet do you?" He squirmed as he lied making it even more believable. "That was her?-" Roman pushed Deceit and ran out the door. 

"What do I do?" I mouthed to Deceit after Roman left, he didn't notice me. I jabbed at the door lightly and let it slip open so that I could talk to Deceit "What do I do?" I repeated anxiously. Deceit had to think for a few minutes before coming up with a reasonable idea "I don't know, I really don't. I mean- You could jump out the window?" Deceit suggested hesitantly "That sounds painful." I was starting to sweat. "I really don't.. I- You-" Deceit was trying his best to generate an idea but being the deceitful side, he wasn't very creative. "Please wake up.." I whispered to myself quietly while letting a tear roll down my bare face "I- You could let them take you back, and then we could try to get you" Deceit hated the thought of this idea and could not stand having no other plans.
