"yeah right, where's Remus?" Virgil snickered "What do you mean 'where's Remus' ?" Deceit asked in quotations "I mean where is he? He was with you, right?" Virgil grew a little worried "No." Deceit shook his head "He will come back, right?" I ask "Yeah, we don't have to worry, right?" Deceit nodded his head "of course we don't have to worry! It will all be okay! He will come back!" I sighed in relief.

"So, should we go and pay for everything now?" Virgil questions "Oh yeah- Wait- how are we gonna get money for this stuff?" Deceit smirks at me "Well. We have the most important jobs meaning that we get paid way more than anyone else! 'we' being us and the.. Others." Deceit frowned while mentioning the light sides. "Plus! We know everyone here! They love us!" Virgil cheered "Uh, not since last time." Deceit whispered "Why- What happened?" Virgil asked "Remus set a part of the store on fire." Virgil groaned "They'll still like us though, right?" Deceit shrugged.

I walked with the others to the register to check out the items, we made our way to this guy who was standing cheerily at the stand. "Hey!" Virgil waved at the man "Hello. Are you ready to check out- Deceit!" The guy smiled widely at Deceit's presence "Uh, me too?" Virgil waved again "It's me, Virgil" He whispered secretly to him "No way, man." The cashier shook his head "It is. He's just in a disguise right now." I backed him up.

The cashier looked at me and gasped loudly "Oh my gosh!- You guys brought Y/n??" He reached over the counter and bought me into a tight squeeze, I heard a faint sound behind me which made the cashier pull away "I get it. She's all yours." The cashier mumbled as he stepped away. "Where'd you guys get her? I know she's not the one from here." He smiled "Um-" Virgil looked to Deceit "We took her from the real world." Virgil elbowed him "It's fine, guys! I won't tell." The cashier guy then finished scanning everything "It's on the house guys, see y'all later!" He waved goodbye to us.

"Why was he so excited to see me?" I asked the two sides "Well, everyone's happy when they see you, It's a natural thing." Virgil replied "What do you mean? Why is everyone so happy?" Deceit walked on the other side of me "Everyone likes you. You're a likable person." Deceit answered "There are some people here that hate me though, right?" They both shook their head "But wait- Didn't you and Remus hate me?" I asked Deceit "Honestly, no." He looked to the ground "He likes you" Virgil whispers to me in a teasing voice.

"Hey! Quiet you!" Deceit pushed him playfully. "Haha! You know it's true though." Virgil grinned "No! Of course not!" Deceit covered his mouth and faced away from me. "Are we gonna look for Remus?" I asked "Should we?" Deceit looked over to Virgil "Well- I am worried for him but I wouldn't want the others to find us. Is there anyway to call him?" Virgil questioned "I lost my phone when I ran away from Roman." Deceit gasped "My phone's dead." Virgil sighed "I have no phone anymore." I frowned sadly.

"He should be able to come back home by himself, he's always getting himself in and out of troublesome situations." Deceit shrugged, and we all continued walking back to the car. We moved out of the mall but then all froze when we saw the light sides in front of us again, face to face. "Y/n?" Roman inspected me "No, Roman. That's birthday Y/n." Logan informed "Then wouldn't she be crying?" Patton asked "She's probably been found by childhood Thomas, we shouldn't think much of it." Logan answered "Wait- Why is she with Pressure and Deceit?" Roman asked.

"Why are you with Y/n?" Patton stood up to Deceit "I was merely helping her find her way to Childhood Thomas, that's all!" he lied in defense "Yeah, like we're meant to believe that." Roman scoffed obnoxiously "It's true. I was pressuring him to help her." Virgil lied quietly "Oh, so he is capable of telling the truth?" Logan squinted at this newly found information "Should we leave then?" Patton whispered "No, we have to be completely sure that Virgil or Y/n isn't here." Logan said as he then walked past us.

The light sides all went by us. "Lucky" I sighed, a bead of sweat rolled down my cheek and onto the ground. Deceit got a little scared during all of that, subconsciously gripping onto my hand as he did, I figured that was a normal thing for scared people but wasn't too sure as when Virgil got scared- He wouldn't want to be near others.

"Quick guys, get to the car" Virgil instructed us. Me and Deceit rushed ahead while Virgil was sprinting at full speed to catch up with us and get to the car. It was hard to get there without disrupting anyone else but we still managed. When we got to the car, we noticed Remus inside in the back. I opened the door and sat in the back with him "Hey" I shook him gently and he woke up "What?" he seemed to be dazed "What happened?" Virgil asked him carefully "I bumped into Roman and he knocked me out" Remus chuckled "2-7" He laughed even harder.

"This isn't a thing to be taken so lightly, we have to get them home." Deceit got in the front seat and buckled up, getting ready to drive. Virgil scooted into the back seat with us and slipped his buckle in. Remus didn't want to put his seat belt on. "Let's go!" I said in a panicked state "Going!" Deceit called out in a singy songy voice, pulling out of the parking space and driving back home. "What if the others ever catch us?" I ask "I won't let them." Deceit grumbled "What if they steal us?" Virgil joined with me in our obnoxious questions "I'll kill them." Remus answered for Deceit.

"Because both of you's are our family, and we aren't gonna let them take our family away. Not again, not ever." Deceit told us comfortingly.
