"Why did I arrive around you guys and not in the general area? Is it flooded there too?" I asked them "Your with us because we're your best friends." Remus smiled toothily at me "Yeah- and we love each other." Deceit put a hand on my cheek "We do?" I questioned "Yeah- even if you don't know it yet.." Deceit looked to the ground and when he did- A flood of thoughts came to my head.
I looked to the ground just as he did and felt all the emotions return to me "I don't remember why, and I don't know how, but I could never forget how I felt being with you- even though this is our first meeting." I smiled up at Deceit who had red puffy eyes from crying so much "And- I don't understand why but I think I wanna stay with you forever." My voice got quieter as I said that "And I think you'll be able to." Deceit answered "Even if I'm a bit broken?"
"We're all broken, and + you can put your trust in me to always protect and love you."
"I think I love you too?"
