The sound of the car door slammed shut made the two of us; me and Alicia, whirled around in our seats. My eyes budged out in dismay at what appeared to be two full bags of chips in the hands of Aria and Roni. Should have known better not to send them together. "We may or may not have spent over the budget" Aria uttered nonchalantly, making Alicia shook her head in dubiety and facing ahead with a cunning grin on. Letting out a light chuckle, I began twisting the keys as the engine roared to life. Reversing the car out of the parking lot, I made a last mental check, just to be sure. Food, check. Fuel, check. 4 girls present in the car, check. "Girls" I began off, smirking at each one of them through the rear mirror.
"It's time to hit the open road!"
Good Girls by 5 Seconds Of Summer blared loudly through the car speakers as we sang along to the lyrics, going off tune once in a while. Alicia wriggled in her seat while doing this weird hand gestures while the two dorks at the back, Aria and Roni jumped around giddily in their seats. Although it was slightly distracting me from focusing on the road, I couldn't bring myself to tell them to stop. They looked like they were having so much fun, and it's been a while. "Are we anywhere near yet?" Roni screamed from the back seat, snapping me from my short daze and as I scanned the surrounding, my lips curled into a broad smile. "Patience guys, patiece" I said which they countered with groans and wails. Babies.

"Guys? Guys! Wake up!" I swear to god these girls are such goofballs. One minute they're all excited and hyper, and next they're all sprawled in their seats, sound asleep. Watching each other them slowly getting up from their short nap, I got out of the car. "We're here" I announced through the opened window, slowly growing impatient. At that, each of their eyes bulged open as they got up, without a second wasted and opened the door car, leaving me alone inside.
"God Mia, I'm so sorry" Aria came up to me as i got out of the car. "It's alright, really" I giggle, swatting my hands at her as I pulled her to face the house. Our gaze fixate onto the huge house standing upright before of us. "Oh my god" "This is perfection!" "How even" It's a beautiful white mansion, literally, with an amazing modern exterior. It's located on a hill, and from where we stood, we could already see the beach from a distance. Bonus. Next to our house, there are also a house in a similar size, probably smaller. Although the exterior reminded me of the house of Stefan and Damon from Vampire diaries, it looked preposessing as well (though I couldn't really picture myself in one of those). "Guys, the bags aren't going to move by itself" Roni said with a groan, sauntering towards the back trunk.
Damn, I forgot.
With a sigh, I joined the rest, moving our items slowly. We sure looked like we just ran away from home. I watched as Alicia and Roni struggled to move the luggages and boxes inside as Aria and I carry them out from the trunk. Aria excused herself, saying she needed to take a potty and as I averted my gaze to the trunk, I let out yet another sigh. Why can't I go and take a rest? I do deserve them after the long drive here right. A brilliant idea struck me, but seeing the tired faces on Roni and Alicia, I swatted it away and continue the so called job. Just as I set the boxes down on the floor, a deep voice startled me, making me jump upright, hitting my head onto the trunk lids.
"Ouch" I rubbed my throbbing head, to ease the pain as I faced the male. My eyes widen at the beautiful creature standing before me. My heart, for some weird reason, began to leap into a gallop as I stared at him. Warmth deserted my face as my mouth went dry at the warmness of his eyes. The feelings and emotions surging through me was so foreign, but at the same time; plesant. "Shit, I'm so sorry. Are you alright? I didn't mean to startle you or anything but uh, I saw you were having difficulties so I umm, I thought I'd help" He started, looking genuinely apologetic. Even when he started rambling he looked cute. Is that even possible? "Oh, no. It's alright, really. Thank you though" I mentally cursed myself for stammering as I feign nonchalance. He chuckled, reaching his hands out towards me. "I'm Jude. Jude Flynn, you are?"
