I bit my lips, so hard I swore I tasted blood. But I couldn't care less. I needed to find Jude, and I needed to ensure that he was alright. Running deeper into the woods and ignoring the girl's desperate screams, I called out for Jude. Unknowingly, hot tears ran down my face, wetting my dry cheeks. I knew this was going to happen. Everything seemed too perfect the previous days, I knew something bad were bound to happen. That's just how it is. This is life. Running deeper into the dark woods, I felt my heart racing when I knew I had ran too far. Chucking my hands into the pockets of my jeans, I cursed under my breath when I realised I left my phone at home. Not that it helps, I bet there won't be any signal if I brought it anyways.
My trail of thoughts were interrupted when I heard leaves rustling in a distance. I released a gasped when the sound increases, implying that whatever that was moving; it was huge and approaching near. "H-hello?" I boldly called out, snapping my head to the left where the sound seemed to be coming from. "J-jude? Is that you? It's me, Mia!" A cold gust of wind passed through me as chills ran down my spine. My eyes widen at the dark silhoutte, emerging from the woods. I was about to let out a loud yelp when I caught a glimpse of the emerald green sweatshirt and recognised the familiar cologne. "Jude" I ran towards him, tackling him into a bear hug. I felt him stiffen under my touch but nevertheless, I tighten the grip around him. "You have no idea how worried I was" I mumbled into his chest, pulling away and cupping his cheeks with both my hands. I frowned when I finally noticed the empty look in his eyes.
"Jude, what's wrong?" I whispered, slightly shaking him.He shook his head, making me release it as he turned his back away from me. "She found me" He said, his voice cracking. Glowering at him, I took a step closer to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You'll be fine Jude" And in that moment, I wished I hadn't said a word to him.
"No Mia! I won't! She found me and now she's going to drag me back home and fucked my life up senselessly! Right, you wouldn't know. Your life's already so fucking perfect" I stared at him wide eyed, stumbling backwards. He turned around, his eyes bloodshot eyes staring down at me in regret as he shook his head. "I-i'm sorry Mia, I just" I hushed him, silencing him with a kiss. It started of gentle, but was soon replaced with much power and passion. I moaned into the kiss, as he deepened it, wrapping an arm around my waist and bitting my lips for deeper access which I parted my lips instantly. Pulling away, we rested our foreheads against each other's as we panted heavily for air.
"I love you Jude" I whispered, lifting my hands up and placing his around his neck before leaning in for another kiss except this time, slowly. "Whatever happens, Jude. I want you to know that I'll always be here with you, and I won't ever leave you, do you hear me?" I said, rubbing the back of his neck gently, with our forehead still against his each other. I watched as his lips twitched into a smile as he leaned forward, pecking my lips. "Promise?" He asked, his voice slightly cracking. "I promi-" Before I could even finish the word, I was pulled into a tight warm embrace. I couldn't hold back a giggle as Jude snuggled into the nape of my neck, inhaling a huge amount of air, tickling me with his hot breath. "I love you so much Mia, I don't know what I did to deserve you" He muttered, leaving butterfly kissed on my neck as I threw my hands over his hair and running my fingers through it.
"I love you too"

"Is he alright?" I asked, genuinely concern while rummaging through the already messed up closet for something decent to wear. "Yeah, just a little cold I guess" Cameron said on the other line. Sighing, I struggled to put on my leggings and a graphic navy blue sweater with my left hand while holding onto my phone with the other. "So, do I have to add in some salt?" He asked mindlessly as I released a long frustrated sigh.
Cameron called me up to ask on how to prepare a Chicken soup for Jude whom caught a cold probably from staying out in the woods. It touched me how Cameron cared for people but showed it occasionally, not caring about his already bruised ego. I was about to give him further instruction when the sound of pans tumbling over and constant Ow! were heard from the other line. "Cameron?!" I called out into the phone, running over to the window to get a glimpse of their property. I snorted, hiding my laughter. Sure enough, Cameron was jumping around like a wild monkey with a hand holding onto a pan and another holding onto the phone. "I may or may not have dropped the pot" Releasing a laughter, I slammed the closet door shut and strode out of my room. "We'll be over in 10" I said, skipping down the stairs. Again, I heard another noise except this time, I was positive it was the sound of glass clattering.
"Make it five"

We walked over to the guys' house, goofing around as we do. It was a sudden plans for them as I literally dragged them out of the house right after the call with Cameron. Alicia was dying to run back home to change into something at least presentabl but after pleasing her, saying that she looked perfect, she finally gave in and here we are now, running towards their house, betting on how the loser buys the winners ice cream. Immature, I know. Barging into the house first, not bothering to knock it or ring the door bell, I pumped a fist on the air and did a victory dance. Roni came second followed by Alicia. A frowning Aria came in last as she waved her hands dismissively, and gasp at the sight before her. We followed her gaze and fell onto the messy kitchen. Messy was an understatement.
The white marbled floor were literally covered with soup and pieces of glasses as the counter were filled with dirty dishes. Walking towards Cameron with my arm crossed and a disapproving look, I shook my head and once again released a sigh. I seriously lost count of how many sighs I've released today. "Help?" He uttered, his eyes shining with what I assumed was hope. The girls behind me scurried into the living room, acting as if they hadn't heard nor seen anything. Massaging my temples, I nodded at him, slowly and carefully tiptoeing into the kitchen, looking out for the broken glasses.
"Holy fuck, what happened here?" Luke stood by the kitchen door, his eyes widen in surprise. Shrugging I pointed at the dimwit kneeling on the floor, picking up the broken glass pieces. "It's all him" I said nonchantly, earning a glare from the male as I chuckled, giving him a hand.

So what do you know? We decided to just order some chinese takeouts to save us from more troubles. Plopping down onto the couch, I rested my head on Alicia's lap. God was I exhausted. I ended up doing most of the jobs because someone had to be so careless and accidentally cut himself with the broken glass. The cut wasn't even big but he just had to exaggerate. Idiot. Sometimes I wondered what happened to the egoistic and rugged Cameron. Not that I prefered the other Cameron, it just amused me how he turned out to be so opposite of how he looked like.
Excusing myself, I got up and went into Jude's room; second floor on the far end left. Knocking, I slowly pushed the door open and was met with a pleasant sight. He was wrapped up in his blanket like a cacoon and sleeping soundly. Not wanting to wake him up, I slowly shut the door close and was about to head downstairs when the sound of commotions grabbed my attention. Curiousty got the best of me as I headed towards the sound coming from the room next to Jude's.
Peeking through the ajar door, my eyes widen when I saw Cameron trapping Roni in between his arms as she tried struggling out of his grip. I held the urge to barge in and asked them what was going on but soon came to the conclusion that they were old enough to make up their own decisions. Just as I was about to turn away, I caught a glimpse of Cameron mumbling something into her ears as he pressed his lips against her. Feeling as though I was interrupting something, I finally ran down the stairs, my grin broadened.
"My babies are all grown up"
