Part 1: Chapter 1

Today was your job interview as a nurse.
You were pumped, excited blasting your music to full volume in your car.
This was your dream job and it was at the hospital you've always dreamed working at, The Grand Hospital.
The Grand Hospital was always the best voted and reviewed hospital around and you couldn't wait to be part of it.

"I'm gonna kill it on this interview." You tell yourself and continue to drive towards the hospital.
Just thinking about you being a nurse makes you wonder how many more girls you could pick up.
You were the best looking and most popular guy in High School and even in College.
You had such an awesome and chill personality that made so many people adore you and some jealous but you were alright with the jealousy.

You continued to drive and drive until in the far distance you could see the front of the hospital.

"This is it. Time to make a living for myself. Make a mark on the world." You say again trying to boost your confidence for the interview.

As you finally parked your car in the parking lot, you layed your head on the back of your chair can't believing you made it this far.
Just then your phone rang on the passengers chair and it was from your ex.

"Great. What does she want?" You say not surprised she called at the wrong time. You pick it up and answer with, "What?"

"I just wanted to call and tell you to watch your back." She said on the other end. Your face was puzzled not knowing what the hell she was talking about.

"Thanks I guess? Uh... Is that it?" You say wanting this awkward conversation to end. What she said next kinda made you worried.

"We will see each other soon (Y/N). Count on it." After that she hanged up the phone and you had so many questions. You just shook your head and ended the call.

When you exited the car you found yourself not in the hospital's parking lot but your surroundings was a swirling darkness.
The air was freezing cold, your eyes were covered in darkness not being able to see a thing.
Your body started to feel numb from the coldness of this new atmosphere that you blacked out.

You opened your eyes slightly enough to see two new faces standing in front of you.
You have never seen these people before and could hear them talking about you.

"So he's the new survivor? What's his name again Quentin?" The long blond haired woman asked.
"I think it's (Y/N), Kate." The man with the hat replied.
The blond haired woman looked at you more closely and smiled.
"My. He's quite the looker don't you think?" The woman asked the man.
"I guess. I-I don't know..." He said shyly rubbing the back of his head with his hand.

You started to get up and see your surroundings more clearly.
You, along with who you assumed were Kate and Quentin were in a forest.

Kate was the first to walk over to you and give you a hand to stand.
Then Quentin starred at you looking tired as can be.

"Hello new fella. I take that your our new survivor." Kate said being polite as can be.
You had no idea what she was talking about, all you wanted was to go to your interview.

"Survivor? No. I'm suppose to be a nurse. So if you just help me get to The Grand Hospital that would be great." You said looking around for an exit in the forest.

Kate and Quentin both looked at each other then back to you and Quentin was the one to tell you the hard truth.

"Your a long way from home."

"But I was just in my car. How the hell am I here?" You say angry and confused.

Kate grabbed your hand and Quentin grabbed your wrist and Kate said,
"We'll take you back to the campfire. Everything will be explained there sweetheart."

They pulled you leading you out of the woods and to a campfire seeing more unfamiliar faces surrounding by a fire. They all turned their heads looking at you.

"Hey everyone. This is the new member of the family, (Y/N)." Kate said putting her hand on your shoulder.

You put your hands in your jean pockets and said hello to everyone with,
"Sup."

You saw some smile, and some returning their eyes towards the fire.

"Tough crowd." You thought.
