So what you understood was you were abducted by something called The Entity to play an endless game of life or death.
Fix generators to open up an exit gate and leave.
At least that's what you got from Dwight's explanation.

You sit down on a log near the campfire and start to look around, seeing your new found friends.
You only knew some of their names like Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Kate, Quentin and Steve.
But there were so many other people you didn't know, there was an old guy wearing a suit, a girl that had a video game outfit on, and a guy with a green jacket sitting across from you staring at a crow.

Steve went up to you and sat next to you to give you some advice.
"Hey man. After the four get back from the trial your going next. So... Get to know some people."

"Got it." You say and get up to meet more people.

The first person you go up to is a woman drawing gangster symbols in the dirt with a stick.
"Hey. What are you drawing?" You ask her.

"Your the newbie right?" She said dodging your question.

"I guess I am. Your name is..." You ask.

"Nea. You?"

"It's (Y/N). Nice to meet you." You put out your hand and she just went back to drawing. She made you feel stupid and you wanted to fight her already but her appearance was scary enough.
Plus you didn't wanna get stabbed with a stick on your first day so you just left.

The next person you went up to was a guy wearing a brown suit and he was busy writing in a journal.

"Hey, what's up. I'm (Y/N)." You say introducing yourself.
The man stopped writing then got up to shake your hand.

"Adam. Pleased to meet you. Care to sit?" Adam said offering you to sit next to him.

"Sure." You say sitting next to him.
You peered over a little to see what he was writing and noticed he was writing down his experiences of the places he traveled.

"Are you a Journalist?" You ask Adam.

"Yes I am. Why do you ask?" You always admired authors, poets, journalists etc.
People who's passion it is to write for a living were good people in your book.

"I always admired people who write. I took a class on Journalism in college once and I didn't do so well." Adam chuckled a little, surprised that someone liked his profession.

Adam was like a professor you'd meet at College.
He spoke and looked educated, even after all the things he has been through here.

"Would you like to see what I wrote about my trip to Tokyo?" Adam asked flipping to a certain page and he handed you his journal.
You gazed at the page and you lost track of time instantly.

After a long conversation with Adam about his travels, Steve with his hands on his hips walked up to you and Adam.

"Alright (Y/N), let's go. The four came back." Steve said and you followed him saying goodbye to Adam.

As you were walking towards the middle you saw the four that came back from the previous trial.
The first person you saw was a girl with a sweater on, the next was a buff looking dude, the third was Quentin and the last was a girl with blond hair, she had a blue buttoned up shirt and blue pants.
Her hair was dirty and her clothes were ragged because of the trial.
It kinda made her more attractive in your eyes.

You couldn't explain this sudden feeling.
"Am I getting nervous?" You thought.
You never get nervous, you were always this confident guy but... not this very moment.

"Good work you four!" Steve shouted congratulating the survivors involved in that trial then continued to give out commands.
"Now then, we have our last trial of the day then we can call it a day. I want (Y/N), Jane, Nea and Jake to go for this one."

"Who put you in charge Steve Harrington?" The girl with the sweater said.

"Me, myself and I, Nancy." Steve responded.

"Can we get on with this! Stop trying to get laid already." Nea said annoyed.
You couldn't help but laugh and so did everyone else.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You, Jane, Nea and Jake appeared in a huge swamp.
The mud, the dirt filled sky, it was all horrible looking.
"My first trial..." You thought looking around.
Jake wasn't in the mood for a trial today so he wanted to make this as quick as possible.
"Let's get this over with. Jane, run around and loop the killer. Nea, go search some chests, we need new supplies." Jane and Nea went their separate ways while you were wondering what you were suppose to do.
"And what do I do Jake?" You ask him.
"Your with me on gen duty, newbie."
Jake started to walk towards a gen and you followed, both of you repairing it.
The gen looked different than the rest of the area.
It looked cleaner than anything else here.
You basically were just connecting wires together to fix the gen.
The blue to the blue, the red to the red and so on.
The gen was running faster and faster until it lit up and was done.
You and Jake moved on to the next.
And then the next gen...
And then the next...
Until this was the last generator and you couldnt be so happy.
Gen duty was boring but you knew it was essential to escape.
The more and more you did the gen, you were thinking about that one girl that had the blue shirt and pants on.
You were sure Jake knew who she was so you asked him.
"Jake."
"What's up?"
"Do you know that one girl with the blond hair and the blue outfit?"
"Who, Laurie?"
"So that's her name. Don't you think she's cute?"  You ask him connecting the same colored wires together.
He just shrugged and left it at that.
He just wanted this to be over with.
The last gen was done and the ground started to shake.
It was like an earthquake but smaller.
You saw red marks on the ground like they're were cracks in the ground.
"What is going on?" You ask trying not to tip over.
"End Game Collapse. C'mon." Jake grabbed your hand and you both ran towards an exit gate.
Jake held the large lever down and was slowly opening up the door.
"Open the damn door!" You heard someone yell.
It was Nea with items in her hand being chased by a huge figure holding a machette in one hand and a bear trap in the other.
"Who the hell is that!?" You shout.
The killer slashed his machette down at Nea and she fell to the ground, dropping all the items she had.
"Son of a b**ch! Get off of me!" Nea cursed being picked up by the killer.
You notice a flashlight that Nea dropped next to your foot and you picked it up.
You were either going to do something heroic or something stupid.
"Hey ugly!" You shout at the killer and he faced you holding Nea in his arm.
You shined the flashlight in his eyes and blinded him making him drop Nea.
"Wow. That actually worked." You said looking at the flashlight.
The exit gate was finally opened and you, Jake and Nea ran out.
Later you saw Jane crawl out a hatch then joining you in victory.
You have escaped your first trial.
You felt great.
You felt useful.
You..felt like you belong here.
