You suddenly sprang up from having a horrible dream.
You were sitting on a mattress, all bandaged up and looked around to see no one.

You were breathing heavily terrified of what you witnessed.

"Man. I'm glad that was just a dream." You say to yourself but you slowly start to realize it wasn't.

It was a living nightmare.

The first sign was the scar on your cheek.
You gave it a soft touch and it still hurt.

The next was seeing Laurie and Quentin bandaged up too.
Laurie had a severe cut on her arm.
Quentin wore a bandage over his eye and you could still see blood running from his face.

Laurie ran over to you and hugged you again.

"Welcome home." She told you.

You first smiled at her then you look over to see Quentin looking at a photo he had in his hand.
You didn't wanna ask him.
What you wanted to know was what happened.

"Laurie, what hap-" Before you could ask her, she put her finger on your lips to shush.

"Nope... Nope... We are going on our date now. Let's not spoil our time we have now." Laurie got up and helped you up.

She handed you your old clothes and you changed into them.

You and Laurie sat on a nice wooden table and with metal chairs.

On the table, there was an old candle in the dead center and it looked like it was used before because there was so much dried up wax on it.

But you didn't mind.
You knew it took forever for Laurie to find all this stuff just for your date.

"So..." She said.

"Here we are." You say smiling.

Laurie gave you a big smile.
She snapped her fingers and a rustling noise came from behind you.
You jerked around to see Steve in some sort of sailor outfit and he was holding a steel plate with drinks and more soup.

Steve started to get tangled in vines, cursing and was about to drop the refreshments until he just tossed it to you and surprisingly you caught it.

"I'll be back with your main course. Ow! That was a thorn." Steve said still trying to get untangled then left.

"It's been so long since I've been on a date." Laurie said handing you your water and soup.

"Same here." You say receiving the water and soup.
"How long have you been here?"

"Three years. I got here when I was sixteen." She said eating her soup and you did the same, sometimes you would look at each other from time to time.
The conversation went on like this.

"Three years!?"

"Its the sad truth but... It's the way it is. Who knows when the entity will let us leave."

"We could stay here forever?"

"Possibly. I practically call this place my new home."

Her words made you feel depressed.
No more open blue skies, no more fun and worse you would never become a real nurse if you stayed here.
You started to look down and pout.

Laurie's POV

I saw (Y/N) getting sad and upset.
So I did what any reasonable person would do.
I tried to make small talk.
My mom used to tell me it helps you not think of your problems.
