A few months have passed and you and Laurie were officially a couple.

You were with Claudette.
She was working on a special project for many years and now that your here, she could finally complete it.

Claudette was very skilled with plants and their healing properties.
Plus with your nursing knowledge, you both created the ultimate add-on for a med-kit.
The Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe.

"This needle is going to change everything." Claudette said flicking the tip of the needle, letting the purple liquid drip a little.

She hands it to you and you place it in a black box with melted Iridescent Shards on it for decoration.
This very box held all the most important tools and add-ons for the survivors.
Purple Flashlights, Purple Toolboxes, Keys, and now the brand new Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe.

You close the box and lock it. You then hand it to Claudette.

"So what does that add-on do?" You ask her.

"It's called an Insta Heal. When someone is injured, they inject it into themselves and all their wounds and bruises are gone."

"Neat."

Laurie's POV

I was busy doing a trial at Coldwind Farm.
It doesn't help that I was the only one alive being chased by The Wraith.
I looped him around the shack for awhile until he hit me with his club, leaving a bruise on my shoulder that ached.

When he tried to get another swing in, I slammed a pallet on him and The Wraith groaned in pain.

I ran and ran not looking back, holding my bruised shoulder to ease the pain.

I heared the heavenly sound of the hatch nearby.
I followed the sound of it and tried to jump right in but something was blocking the entry.

I slowly realized what it was.
A cloaked Wraith.
He slowly turned visible again then shut the hatch with his foot.

My heart began to sink.
For the first time I couldn't move.
I was frozen in fear.
I had a flashlight in my hand, I could have easily burned him and escape.
But no...
I just stood there.

"Please don-" I couldn't finished my sentence because I blacked out from his swing.

What's happening to me?
I always escape.
Am... I... afraid?
But what of?

Your POV

You were eating with Detective Tapp talking about a crime case he solved long ago.

"...Yup turns out it was John Kramer as the Jigsaw killer. The poor bastard." Tapp explained sipping coffee and enjoying a donut.

"Where did he keep his victims?" You ask.

"Ah what was that place called? Oh yeah. The Gideon Meat Plant."

For some reason that named sounded familiar but your train of thought was disrupted when Laurie walked over with a cut under her eye and a purple bruise on her arm.

"Laurie!" You yell.

She fell in your arms passed out from the pain.
You tried to shake her awake and surprisingly her one eye opened while the other eye didn't.

"Hey 'Puppy'." Laurie said with a weak smile.
'Puppy' was your cute nickname she gave you.

She groaned in pain.
You walk her over to your clinic.

Your clinic wasn't much but it did the job.
It was inside an old SUV and it was kinda your room as well.
You found it with Laurie while you were walking together one night.

You enter and setted her down on the couch and got some medical supplies from the shelves around.

You find a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball then sit next to her.

"C'mon. Try and sit up." You tell her.
Laurie did what you asked and she sat up facing you.

You dip some rubing alcohol on the cotton ball then pat it over her eye.

She turns her head away.

"Oww..." She cries.

"I'm sorry but it's gotta go onto your eye."

"It stings."

"Ok. Let's try to ease it then. I'll see if Claudette has some ice." You start to walk out the door.
You turn and give Laurie a kiss on her cheek and smile.
"Love you. Be back soon." You say and Laurie nods.

A few minutes pass and you come back with some ice.
As you were making an ice pack for Laurie you ask her about her eye.

"I hope I wasn't too long. How's your eye doing?" You ask, no response from her.
"Laurie?" You turn to see her asleep on the couch.

She was wearing nothing but a huge tank top she took from your wardrobe that covered her whole body up to her knees.

You blush a little from the sight but tried to stay focus on her injuried eye and arm.

You lifted her head then gently put her head on your lap and sat to put the ice pack on her eye.

"Goodnight 'kitty'." You say to Laurie softly sleeping on your lap.
