Chapter 6

You were face to face with the council of survivors sitting on chairs made of stone.
It consisted of Dwight, Meg, Claudette and Jake and all four of them were covered in blood.
They were the first survivors ever here and decide what type of survivor you are.

You were standing in the center, the council in front of you and the rest of the survivors behind you.
You look over your shoulder seeing Laurie wave and smile at you and you smile back.

"(Y/N). Let's get started please." Meg said making you face the council again.
"We have evaluated your skills with a flashlight and we must say we are very impressed."

"Yes. I saw how you stood your ground against the Huntress first hand-" As Claudette was speaking Jake interrupted.

"And blind the Trapper saving Nea-" Jake said then the floor was back to Claudette.

"You will receive your three perks and become an official survivor. Welcome to the Fog (Y/N)!" Everyone applauded you and couldn't help but thank everyone.

"Now uhh... You will receive your perks in the Bloodweb. Follow us." Dwight said and they all got up and you followed.

As you were following them, you saw Laurie walking with you.

"Your finally going to be an official member. I knew you had it in you." Laurie said.

"You mean not everyone who arrives here gets to be a survivor?" You ask her in disbelief.

"Nope. You gotta be special in the entity's eyes and in ours."

"I guess I'm really special to everyone."

"Your more special to me." Laurie's words made your heart melt.
Was this a confession that she likes you?
You didn't have time to think because you bumped into Jake, who stopped.

"We're here." Jake said pointing to a run down shack that had seen better days.

The wood was dirty, moldy and you couldn't help but say, "Eww... This is what I get for being special? An old sex shack."

Laurie elbowed you and you saw the council looking at you with angry faces.

"I mean. Wow! I love it." You lie and no one bought it.

Meg opened the shack up and you walked inside to see some sort of web on the wall in front of you.
The web was red and dripping in blood.

"What the hell is this?" You say touching the web.

"That is the infamous Bloodweb. This let's you get your perks. Each survivor gets three." Claudette said.
She shows you how to use it, she grabbed your hand and made you trace your finger going from one thing to another until you hit a badge covered in blood.
"Ah. There we go. Here is your second perk (Y/N)." She ripped off the badge off the web and pinned it on your shirt.
Your new perk was called Hospital.

"Cool. What does this perk do?" You ask and before Claudette could explain, Laurie stepped in and did.

"Hospital activates when you heal another survivor and when that same survivor is injured again, they can heal themselves without a med kit. It's kinda like giving them self-care for one heal." Laurie explained and you looked at the badge again, the picture was the image of The Grand Hospital reminding you of home.

You then look at the Bloodweb again and was trying to get your third perk until there was no more blood to reach the bloody badge.

"Hey. What happened?"

"You ran out of blood points. You need to play another trial to get more. Sorry..." Dwight said nervously.

You look at everyone and nodded confidently.
You were an official survivor and was ready to face the challenges ahead.

"Alright. Let's go do another trial." You say and everyone smiled at you.

"I hope you can keep that confidence (Y/N). Your gonna need it." Jake warned you.
