Laurie's POV

I headed back to (Y/N)'s SUV.
I saw the sleeping bag he set up for me.
How sweet.

He organized the place too.
Did he want me to move in with him?

I heared the door creek open.
I turned expecting to see (Y/N).
But I saw Quentin's face trying to quietly peek in.

"Quentin?" I ask him.

He stood up and opened the door fully.
Now he was in the doorway looking tired as always.
He had his cup of coffee always with him.

"Oh, hey Laurie. Have you seen (Y/N)?" Quentin asked.

"No. But he's suppose to meet me here. Why what's wrong?" I sat Quentin down on the couch and let him talk.

Quentin was (Y/N)'s first friend since he first got here.
I knew Quentin cared about (Y/N) too.
So I knew he would tell me.

"Well, when he exited the Archive. I saw him cry a little. He looked really sad and depressed." He took a sip of his coffee.

I remember (Y/N) telling me he wanted to see his mom again.
He might of actually saw his mom.

I told Quentin that and he told me,
"You should go talk to him. He looked like he needs someone to talk too right about now."

Problem with that is I don't know where he went.

Hmm... Where would (Y/N) go when he's depressed?

"Hopeful Creek..." I thought.

I quickly ran out the door and headed straight there.

But Quentin grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go.

"Quentin. Let me go!" I yelled trying to tug my arm away from him.

He wouldn't budge.

"I'm sorry. I can't let you see him." He said.

"Why not?"

"Because. Killers are our enemies." Quentin had a smile on his face that scared me.

What did he mean by that?

"What are you-" Before I could finish my sentence, Quentin pulled out a syringe out of his jacket pocket and injected a needle filled with a clear liquid inside my arm.

He then released me and I collapsed on the ground feeling dizzy.

I blacked out.

Your POV (1st Person)

I went to Hopeful Creek.
I needed some time to think.

The memory of my mom brought back other painful memories I'm starting to remember.

I remember my mother went missing.
How it was all over the news.
That many Nurses and Patients were killed at the Asylum my mom worked at.

Was she among the majority?
If she was.
Why do I still believe she's here with me?

"That's because I am." Someone said.

I looked all around me.
I saw a figure stand at the end of the bridge I was on.

The figure came closer towards me.
It was the form of a person.

It was The Nurse.

"Can't you see im busy. Go away Nurse." I told her.

"I can see your busy drowning in your own sadness. I can help you." The Nurse told me.

"No. You can't." I sadly said and I started to walk away from her and make my way back to camp.

"I know where your mother is (Y/N)."

That gave me goosebumps and gave me a reason to stop and listen.

"Go on." I told her to continue.

"Why all this time you have met your mother after the incident at the Asylum."

How does she know that!?

"How do you know all of this!?" I asked her demanding to know.

"(Y/N)... My son..." She said and I was speechless.
"I am your Mom..." The Nurse proceeded to take off her full white mask and revealed her beauty brown hair that was now dusty.
Her eyes covered by a headband.
Her scent was all blood instead of cookies.

I can't believe it.

The Nurse is my mom.
A killer is my own mother.
All this time...
I have seen her...

"M-mom?" I asked still shocked by the situation.
The Nurse nodded.

I ran up to her and hugged her tightly.
She did the same.

"I missed you so much. I thought you died in the Asylum incident." I told her.

"I'm here aren't I? I fought for so many years just to see you again. And now that we are together again..." My mom paused before finishing her sentence.
"...You will join me with the rest of the killers."

"What?" I immediately let go of her.
"No. I can't just switch sides. I would never hurt my friends. I would never hurt Laurie." I protested.

"Isn't this what you've always wanted? To be reunited with mommy?"

"Not like this. Not for the outcome to kill." I said.

My Mom looked displeased at what I said.

"Understand all the trouble I have went through for you. This is where it all pays off. For you to join the killers."

"No this isn't what I had in mind. What happened to the kind and gentle woman that was my mom?"

"She is still here. It's just that all that kindness and gentleness is reserved only for you."

The Entity has made my mom insane.
I needed to get out of here.
I started to back away and make a run for it.

Surprisingly my mom didn't try and blink towards me.
Instead someone else was in my way.

It was Quentin.

"Quentin. We gotta get out of here. The Nurse is my mom and she wants me to become a killer." I said to him.

"Then be a killer. It's where you belong." Quentin said to me and smirked.

I stood frightened.
I was cornered between the bridge.

Quentin in front of me and my mom behind me.

"Did you take care of the girl?" The Nurse asked Quentin.
Quentin nodded and The Nurse said,
"Good. She won't make it out alive."

"What girl?" I asked both of them.
Their response was small laughter and I knew who they were talking about.

"Where is she?" I asked getting angry.
"What did you do with Laurie!?"
