Chapter 5

"What are you talking about?" You ask her confused.

"I know about what you did to Amanda and I can't ever forgive you for that!" Laurie yelled.

You had no idea what she was talking about.
Yes, you did break up with Amanda but...
She broke up with you.

"Laurie I-" Before you tried to justify yourself, the darkness consumed you all and you were being brought to the trial.

You entered the Red Forest and looked around your surroundings.

The trees and bushes around you.
Damped by the endless rain falling from the gray sky above.
The sky was filled with lost and despair.

You start on a generator connecting wires and such.
You have been doing this sorta thing for so long the gen was almost halfway done.

"Look at me. I'm such a pro." You say to yourself.

"You wish, Honey bun..." A familiar voice said.
It was Kate, she was helping you with the gen this whole time.

You both smile at each other but that smile faded when you both heared The Huntress's Lullaby from afar.

"Great." You muttered.
Kate got off the gen them proceeded to run away spotting a totem from afar, leaving you by yourself.
"Aaannd... Double great..." You muttered again and proceeded to do the gen.

You couldn't hear the Lullaby anymore so you kept on working on the gen.

As you were about to pop the gen, you heared a distant scream.
You recognized the scream quite well.
It was Jake.

You quickly pop the gen.
The gen lit up and you ran as fast as you could towards the sound of Jake's scream.

Laurie's POV

I heared Jake screaming from a distance.

I quickly darted towards the sound.

When I got there, I saw Jake being picked up by the killer.

To my surprise it was the Huntress.

The Huntress carried Jake towards a hook and I could see Jake desperately try to escape.

I followed them slowly and steadily so the Huntress wouldn't spot me.

The Huntress hooked Jake and he didn't scream due to Calm Spirit.
But I knew it must of hurt.

The Huntress ran away from the hook.
For now...

As I was on my way to save Jake.
I bumped into"him" on the way there...

Your POV

As you were about to save Jake.
You bumped into Laurie.

You both fell on the ground.
The mud stained your clothes plus the rain wetting your clothes didn't help.

You got up and brushed off some of the mud and saw Laurie struggling to get up from the amount of mud.

"Here. Let me help you." You say reaching your hand out to her.

To your surprise she smacked your hand away.

"Go. Save him." Laurie told you referring to Jake.

You didn't feel like arguing.
There was no time for that now.

"Right." You nod and unhook Jake.
