Miles' P.O.V.

After Jessica ran out, I was fuming with anger. No matter how I rejected her, Brandon shouldn't be touching MY girl!

I looked over at Brandon to see him giving me a blank look. I was clenching and unclenching my hands as every second I see him feels like poison.

"You really left her...?" Brandon asked me, but it sounded more like a statement. I couldn't answer as it was the truth I regret.

I just turned and walked away, heading out of the building. Right now I'll just try to find Jessica.

I run out the way I saw her leave. I looked left and right, and I couldn't find her.

I sighed and lean on the wall of the building outside.

Jessica... your face when you passed me... I'm sorry...

I sighed once more and went to cind Stephanie to ask her where Jessica could be.

I turned to the entrance and stepped on something. I looked down and saw something familiar. I picked it up and looked at it thoroughly.

My eyes widened with recognition and looked around in panic.

"But... But this is Jessica's ring that she always wears... how did it drop?" I thought to myself. It was then when I noticed the skid marks on the floor.

I put the ring in my pocket and ran with the skid marks guiding me. The marks stop at the direction of her house.

I sprinted like Usain Bolt to her house, worry taking over my body. I was out of breath by the time I got there and I saw a note on the door.

I grabbed it and stormed home, to find Stephanie's number. I immediately dialed it and called her over, making it urgent.

I read the note at least 10 times, not believing what I'm reading. 20 minutes later, Stephanie is at my door, looking like a mess.

"You're joking right?! Jessica isn't kidnapped right!!!" She had tears in her eyes, a lot of pain evident in her voice.
