~Millie's POV.~

I wake up to a strong smell of coffee. Ugh, Monday, work, Jacob, eww. I looked at the time and instantly jumped up, I'm gonna be late. I have a very specific timed morning routine schedule but I'm like twenty minutes late. I must've forgot to set my alarm with last night and lately with Finn. I ran downstairs and watched Ian and Lea karaoke to baby shark. At least they were dressed but Finn however was stood in swimming trunks pouring coffee tiredly. He smiled weakly at me and pecked my forehead with a short but appreciated hug. I took a sip of his coffee and made a sour face.

'Eww, where's the sugar?'
Finn: Right in front of me, why?
'Cause your coffee is bitter.'
'Give it some sweetness then.'
'It meaning you right?'
'Maybe.'

I pecked his cheek then gasped dramatically, sorry, I just can't help myself.

'I'm gonna be late.'

I smiled at his playful heartbroken expression before running upstairs and changing. I went downstairs and saw Finn and the kids gone. I frowned and looked around until I saw a note. I read it out loud.

'Figured you could use a hand with time, see you later.'

I smiled and put the note in my shirt pocket. Work...

~Finn's POV.~

After driving Lea and Ian to school and chatting with Keery I had to suffer a weird conversation with that Jacob kid. He definitely obsessed with Mills so I'm avoiding him every chance I get. I had nothing to do so I went home and rearranged my room and decided to check up on business. I called Randy to see if he was okay at the shop or if I had to come in, which apparently I did. I know I'm a dad and its weird that I work in a music store with mostly teenagers and interns but I liked my job. And when I came over I got promoted to assistant manager so that's cool. I drove to work and watched the customers come and go. Randy also does this thing where he scans peoples appearance and looks at the records they buy and analyses who they are or whatever. Its pretty cool actually because most of the time he's right and it keeps me entertained. When it was around Millie's lunch time I went to her school, yes I texted her before I went, I'm not that guy who just shows up. I walked into the building and felt eyes on me. It was probably a bad idea to wear my tight jeans. High school girls can be, a lot. I walked straight to Millie's class and waited for the bell to ring and students to pour out. I ignored the looks and whispers and watched the door for Millie to step out. I smiled instantly at her clumsiness as she almost tripped over her foot. She was wearing a white ruffled shirt and a royal blue pencil skirt and white stilletos. Pretty.

'You look pretty today.'
Millie: Thank you Mr Wolfhard.
'Let's eat.'
'What are you gonna eat? I only brought lunch for myself.'
'Do you really think I came to eat?'
'Yeah, why else would you come at lunch?'
'To see you and make Jacob cry.'
'Right, silly me.'

I grinned showing all my teeth so she let out a loud chuckle causing a few students to look our way. A flash went off so we both looked to see a girl in a beanie with black eye-shadow and rainbow coloured hair. She smiled flashing her pearly whites and dimples, her jet black eyes matched her glasses frame.

Girl: Sorry. Laters Miss Brown.
Millie: Bye Lynn.
'Lynn. Nice name.'
Millie: She's one of my favorite students, she's so strong and admirable because she has been through hell and she still has a heart of gold.
'Sounds like you have a girl crush.'
'Ohh shush.'

We finally went to the teachers lounge. I smiled at Millie and locked our hands, we don't really do that a lot but it feels awesome so its gonna be my new habit. We sat down at a table with Nat and Charlie.
