[suprise:]

~Lea's POV. ~

'Are you sure we should even be doing this?'
Ian: Yes, I'll be careful.
'It just feels so wrong'
Ian: It's okay, no one will even know.
'I don't know, I'm not sure.'
Ian: No. And let everyone find out? Now's our only chance.

I thought it over for a second before I gave him a nod.

'Okay, let's do this.'

He smiled and led me to the window of his room. He looked down.

Ian: I see it.

I led him downstairs on tip toe, I saw no one in the kitchen or living room. We ran outside and checked if the coast is clear once again. I looked at him and he ran in front of me before jumping over the neighbors wall. I heard him groan and gasped when I saw he fell in the garden. Mrs. Jakes will kill us if she finds out we squashed her tamatoes she always brags about.

'Hurry up.'

He crawled over to the paper we had lost. Well, the paper Ian accidentally let fly out of his hand which happened to have some personal things on. So yes its important and we need to get it back, or else Mrs. Jakes will read it and tell my dad and whoever else. I'm not ready for that step yet, so far I've only told Ian and he gets why its so important no one finds out. I was a nervous reck by the time he hopped back over the fence. I grabbed the paper from him and squeezed him into a hug.

'Thank you, you're the best.'
Ian: Yeah, I know.

We ran back inside and tore the paper into very small pieces. I get that Ian supports me and my dad probably will too, I guess it's the telling part that scares me. I sighed as the paper got dumped into the trash.

~Millie's POV.~

I sat down by the table with Finn, Lea and Ian. Something seems off with the kids though. Lea is being awfully quiet, barely eating and she's just staring into her lap which is all very unlike her. Ian keeps staring at her and he keeps wiping his hands on his shirt, a habit he has when he's nervous. I frowned slightly not realising how caught up in my thoughts I was. I need to speak to Finn, maybe he hasn't even noticed. I mean motherly insticts are different from fatherly ones. I felt a hand on top of mine causing me to look up. I smiled at Finn before whispering to him that we needed to talk. He gave an understanding nod before he continued eating. After dinner Finn and I were washing up and Ian and Lea went to bed.

'Something's up.'
Finn: What do you mean?
'I mean Ian and Lea aren't telling us something.'
Finn: I don't see it.

He shrugged as I spun around quickly and looked at him funny, I probably looked dumb.

'Well I do, Lea isn't being herself, she was way too quiet and she's always hungry but she barely touched a thing con her plate and Ian is nervous about something.'

I sighed stressing about it, yes I'm still trying to crack this mystery.

Finn: How do you know?

I watched him lean against the counter with a naggy tone in his voice which I ignored.

'I dunno, I'm a mother, I assume these insticts come naturally with being a mom and I guess I've always been a little more observant.'

I smiled remembering how carefully I'd watched Ian when he was a baby.

Finn: I'm sure it's nothing Mills, it could just be a phase, whatever is going on, I trust them.

I shook my head at his words both sad and angrily.

'Yeah, that's what my father said about me and look what happened!'

I watched his face turn into an angered expression. He looked hurt by my outburst and shook his head repeatedly.

Finn: Stop making it sound like you were some cheap slut, that wasn't your fault! He had no right to touch you!

I was weeping as I stared at him.

'It was my fault, I shouldn't have gone to that stupid party.'

I fell against the counter weakly and watched Finn take a few steps towards me through my blurry tears. He wrapped his arms around me in a hug as I damaged his shirt with my tears.

Finn: Your friend should'nt have left you, she let you down, thats her fault. He shouldn't have touched you, he hurt you, thats his fault. That was a shitty night, with shitty people, but you got Ian, you came here, you have friends, and now you have me and Lea. And I don't plan on leaving anytime soon princesa.

He released me from the hug and cupped me face. I stared into his eyes and saw his sincerity. I smiled slightly before chuckling before softly and playfully hit his chest. I wiped my face.

'Stupid.'

He smiled widely at the simple word before I felt his lips meet mine softly but passionately. I cupped his face before pulling away after a minute.

Finn: Can we go to bed now?
'I haven't done my nighttime routine yet.'
Finn: Screw your nighttime routine.

He pulled me upstairs by my hand as I giggled.

'Clingiest boyfriend ever.'
Finn: Best girlfriend ever!

I blushed at the name 'girlfriend', don't judge, I've never had a boyfriend before.

'You sound very excited Mr Wolfhard. What do you want?'

I raised my eyebrow as he turned to face me with the cutest smile ever. A light blush coated his cheeks as he giggled like a guilty little kid.

Finn: Cuddles.

I rolled my eyes playfully but I couldn't keep my smile from showing.
