~Finn's POV.~

Lea: No!!

I looked at her sat on Millie's hip clinging onto her. She doesn't wanna leave and I'm going on a two day trip for some record thing I have to do. I hate being "the responsible guy" at work.

"Stop it Lea, I can't leave you here for two days, you have to come with me."

She started crying really loudly into Millie's neck. I looked at her with an apology visible on my face. She shook her head and gave me an understanding and reassuring smile. I returned the smile.

Lea: I don't wanna go!!

I sighed. I don't understand why she's being like this. Maybe Mills was right, she is acting a bit strange.

"You're being selfish Lea, I can't expect Millie to take care of you alone for two days, it's not fair towards her."

She stopped crying and looked up. My little hope was crushed when she threw her stuffed giraffe at me.

Lea: Then I'll sleep outside but I'm not going! I'm staying here, I don't like you and you can't force me!!

She jumped out of Millie's arms and ran upstairs crying again.

"Stop being so stubborn!"

I sat down with another sigh. I ran my hand through my hair and let my head fall into my hands. I looked up for a second to see Millie's mouth open as if she wanted to speak and her head turning between me and the staircase. Probably debating on following Lea or speaking to me. She gave a small shrug and sat next to me on the couch.

Millie: Don't you think that was a bit much?

She asked softly and played with her fingers in a nervous manner.

"You would say that. You're too easy on her by choosing her side, its not gonna teach her anything."

I snapped at her and immediately regret it by the look of hurt in her eyes. She stood up to leave but I stopped her.

"I'm sorry, I was mad, I shouldn't have snapped at you."

She nodded slowly and mumbled a small it's okay. I patted the couch and she sat back down.

Millie: Look Finn, I don't wanna fight, okay.

I nodded both meaning it and being curious as to where this was going.

Millie: But I think something is wrong, it's been two days and I can't shake that feeling. I think it's best if Lea stays, it'll make your job easier and hopefully she'll speak to me, in case it's a girl thing she's going through.

She looked at me nervously for my response. She was right though, as painful as it is Lea could learn more from Millie and probably would trust her with advice more than me. I mean I'm a mess and Millie is just so stable, I wouldn't blame anyone for instantly trusting her. Plus, seeing how Lea just behaved I knew she would be difficult towards me purposely and I wouldn't get my business done. I sighed admitting she was right, I still don't wanna leave Millie to deal with her attitudes alone. She can be a handful, hopefully Mills is prepared for that.

"Okay, she can stay. But text me every hour on how she's doing, okay?"

She smiled and nodded.

Millie: Of course. And thank you, for understanding I guess.

I just shrugged and nodded. I brought her in for a hug and kissed the top of her head.

"Do you wanna go tell her?"
