The night is much more peaceful than the day.
It's quiet, besides the cricket's singing and the occasional car.The air is cool and fresh and the stars shine their thousand year light on the reflective dew of the grass.
The traffic of people and cars finally decides to hibernate.
There's an absence of awkward run-in threats.
And my nerves can finally relax.I only have to consider the nocturnals, but they're kind of interesting to observe and they're not really interested in talking.
At night I can finally breathe.
I can control the night.
No plans.
No schedule.
No people.
The night is my own.
I used to be afraid of the night,
But now it's my home.
