Their eyes slice into my skin
Scanning my every move
Taking me as their prisoner.
My body is frozen.
My mind is stuck in slow motion.
Why won't they look away?
Their gazes follow my every move.
I feel their eyes prying at my mind.
They scan my body as I walk away.
My teeth chatter.
My shoulders shake.
I can't handle their stares anymore.
I'm hot with anxiety.
Hot tears stream down my cheeks.
But I blink them away
And no one suspects a thing.
