Virgil sobbed, in his bedroom at the time. Roman had rejected him, hardcore, and he didn't know what to do with himself. Virgil had done this grand gesture to swoon Roman, but he rejected him by saying such... awful things. Pointing out how ugly he is, that he's just a peasant compared to him. Who could blame him, everyone would say that, but, actually hearing it tore him apart. What Virgil didn't know, was there was a sort of pink glow in his eyes.

Roman was grieving over the horrible things he had told Virgil earlier today. The things he said were so uncalled for and he didn't even mean half of them! Roman was out in the Imgination Realm near dawn, and the Dragon Witch had found him, and put a curse on him, making him say whatever was the truth into a lie. Just like Deciet, but, Deciet wasn't this horrible. If he would do anything magic-wise, he would make people tell the truth, 24/7, not even a white-lie could be made.

Roman sighed, and sniffled, trying not to cry. He found the cure for the curse, but, now, he has completely lost his chances. Or, did he? He got up, planning to go to Virgil's room, a hope and a dream coming along with him. He made it to Virgil's room, knocking on the black polished door softly. The door flew open after two seconds, a disheveled Virgil with pink irises appearing in the door way.

Roman instantly recognized those, and pulled out his sword carefully. "Virgil... are you in there?" Roman asked cautiously, backing up a short distance to remain safe. An animalistic growl came out of Virgil's mouth, and he bounded forward, pinning Roman to the ground. Roman tried to shove him off, hoping to regain some safe distance, noticing it was difficult to get Virgil off of him. When had he grown so strong?

Roman had dropped the sword a few feet away from the both of them, leaving Roman helpless as Virgil's mouth morphed into huge mandibles, with long, canine teeth, that could easily bite through his neck. Roman huffed, adrenaline running through his system, still trying to fight off Virgil. Roman remembered the dagger he had in his boot, and kneed Virgil in the stomach, causing him to howl and fall over, giving Roman enough time to grab the small dagger. Virgil had quickly gotten up, running at Roman to pin him down again.

Roman groaned, hitting his head, in a particular soft spot, on the hardwood floor. Virgil growled, spit connecting to his canines, drool coming down from the mandibles. Roman gulped, watching as Virgil analyzed his face, flickering between pink and purple irises. Virgil was trying to fight the Dragon Witch off, but, he was in such turmoil that he couldn't fight her off. A high pitched scream was followed by a sickening crack, blood seeping out on the floor.

Virgil had snapped Roman's neck in half.

Sorry for making this one so short, I had an idea, and decided that having a short chapter for this sort of thing would be a better fit. I hoped you enjoyed the chapter. See you in the next one, kittens!
