Short Summary: The soulmate one where there's the tattoo thing on the wrist of the first thing they say to one another. Virgil's tattoo says "I guess you could say I've fallen for you." And Roman says "dude are you, okay you just fell down an entire fucking flight of stairs"
Patton rounded a corner with Virgil, a to-go cup of hot cocoa in his hands, trying to warm them from the cold autumn air. Virgil, on the other hand, was drinking a pumpkin spice frappuccino with 3 expresso shots, freezing his hands, but not caring in the slightest. He only liked to drink cold drinks, always burning himself when trying to drink his coffee immediately. Patton was currently talking about a puppy he had seen while walking home from college, fostering him at the moment and seeing if he can get someone else to keep him, due to the strict policy of no pets in his home due to the lease on the house.
Virgil began to zone out, staring at his wrist where his soulmate mark would be, currently being covered by his hoodie and trench coat. Virgil shifted his bag and listened back to Patton, giving his feedback on his situation and how he should foster the pup until he was healthy and bring it to a no-kill shelter. Virgil and Patton arrived at the college, waving goodbye to each other, Patton heading to biology and Virgil heading to art. Virgil headed up a flight of stairs, noticing a fair looking boy with a... teacher? I don't know, he's wearing glasses and is in a suit and tie. Possibly a law student if not a teacher.
Virgil shrugged, trudging up four flights of stairs, headphones on to drown out the people that were currently crowding him. Virgil found his room, A-98, entering and signing in, finding himself a seat in the back. Virgil sighed, taking out his sketchbook, art assignment, pens, pencils, erasers, and markers. The class was going to do a warm-up with a quick sketch of a vase with flowers in it, then get some free time to continue working on the spread piece of artwork. It could be anything you wanted, as long as it correlated with each other and filled the entire space. You could also decide whether or not if it was going to be colored, and, in Virgil's case, that was a yes.
Virgil took off his coat and hoodie, being left in a dark purple long sleeve, rolling it up to his elbows to ensure he did not mess up any of his sleeves. There was no bell at this particular college, you just arrived at a time the professor says and be there, otherwise, you are counted as absent until you sign that you were there that day, giving you credit and not being threatened to be kicked out of the class due to absences. Virgil has never been late or absent to this class, due to needing a high degree to get into the tattooing business. Yes, he could just be an apprentice with a high school diploma, but, the higher the education in art, the higher the pay and the more respect you get in the community.
Virgil sighed softly, glancing at his project. It was surrounding skulls and death but is depicted in light colors instead of dark and gloomy. The teacher kept talking jibberish, causing Virgil to tune out and sketch out the vase, eager to get back to his project on the spreadsheet. He was never allowed to do his work in a school setting, and, to be quite frank, he was ecstatic to have an opportunity like this and build another portfolio for his possible tattooing job. Virgil hummed to himself when the teacher left them alone, getting his phone out and seeing a text from Patton. 'Hey, Kiddo! I just met someone that you might like~ meet then on the third floor, they're on the fifth floor at the moment for theatre.' Virgil sighed softly, rolling his eyes. Patton was always trying to set him up with someone new, hoping that they'll be his soulmate. Virgil has already given up, knowing there is a very slim chance that he'd meet them (hopefully a guy, he's a 'disaster gay' as Damien states it).
After about three hours of class, Virgil headed down to the third floor, waiting for this 'Roman' guy. Roman, on the other hand, had met Patton through Logan, where they ended up being soulmates, and kind of walked in on them making out. Anyway, Roman started running to the third floor, remembering that Patton wanted him to meet someone, having them wait for 10 minutes now due to his class being Theatre and he got stuck within a scene. Roman got to the staircase for the third floor, spotting a guy at the bottom wearing a patchwork hoodie under a black trench coat, playing on his phone. He had dyed black hair with purple tips, falling in front of his eyes, black eyeshadow coming from below them. Roman face flushed and he fell down the flight of stairs, landing at the boy's feet who stared down at him, mouth agape.
"Dude, are you ok? You just fell down an entire fucking flight of stairs!" He exclaimed, putting his phone away to help him up. "Yes, but I guess I've fallen for you," Roman flirted, every part of his body hurting due to falling down the flight of stairs. Virgil stared at him, and slapped a hand to his forehead, muttering to himself about something on soulmates and meeting him after injuring himself. "So... you're Roman, I presume?" Roman nodded, a grin forming on his face, picking the boy up in a hug, spinning around, laughing heartily. "It's you! It's you who's destined for me!" Virgil held onto Roman, trying not to fall, smiling a bit at how happy Roman was to see him, also quite happy that he has met his soulmate.
