10. FATHER

3rd Person's

Taehyung's father kept on crying while looking at Seokjin's lifeless body, his hands are shaking, tears won't stop falling from his eyes. He pressed his forehead against Seokjin and his tears drops on the lifeless face of his son.

"Forgive father, I didn't do anything son. I'm so sorry. I wish I knew earlier, if only I knew you won't suffer all of these. I'm sorry I can't be the father you needed. Please forgive me, I love you, son."

He didn't care whether he's choking or what he looked like, his son was taken away from him before he can tell him about their relationship. He hugged his son one last time and wished it didn't have to be like this, he wants to lavish him with all the love he can give, but how? His son is now gone, taken away from him.

Taehyung walked towards his father, his heart broke at the sight of the both of them, but his mind is also bewildered at the words he's been hearing. "Father, what do you mean son?"

His father looked up to him with great misery and remorse, "He is my son, Taehyung. My long lost son. I never knew until today. I was so happy to know him and be with him finally but this happened. My son is gone! I was robbed of the right to be his father!"

So we're brothers?

"How?"

Taehyung can only say one word beside all the thoughts that he has. He was so shock at what he's hearing and witnessing. How can his life be so messed up? One moment he's okay and not minding anything, then next he saw himself living with an Omega he hated for no reason which resulted to all this chaos in his heart and mind, the now, this? Seokjin is his father's son! He's his brother!

"Father please answer me, How?" Taehyung needed answers to his questions about what is happening, he can't stay still

His father decided to tell him the truth ...

"It was this morning when Seokjin's 'father' come up to me and told me the truth about Seokjin. It all started years ago when I fell for someone who is not my mate, she is a white wolf, but beside that she is the best anyone could ask for, I fell for her deep and hard and we made love countless of times, but the feud between our packs were so great that we needed to hide our relationship. Everything went on smoothly, but one day she vanished she left me without a word. I thought she just needed time and will come back, but she never did. I moved on and tried hard to live everyday until I met your mom, my mate. I accepted her and loved her, not as great as Seokjin's mom, but I know I love her.

But after all those years, I never knew I had a secret rival, it was Seokjin's so called father, I don't know that he also has a special feeling towards her. We were best friends and I didn't thought that he had those feelings for her. He told me that he saw her in the woods, its was dawn and left a baby outside our house. He was so driven by anger and envy towards me that he stole my son away from me. He made everyone believe that he is the father of that child and he met an Omega and had his child with her. "

Taehyung can see how his father was flaming with rage as he tells everything to him. He rarely see his father filled with so much anger that would terrify every wolf alive.

"But do you know what hurts the most, Taehyung? He ruined my son! They treated him like a toy and I hadn't known any of these! He experienced so much pain to different Alphas and me, his father was not there to wipe his tears whenever he needed me. I was never there to help him during his first transformation, or see him take his first step. They robbed me away of that, Taehyung! I was not there the entire lifetime of Seokjin."

The strongest Alpha of our pack lost all his strength and looked so hopeless, Taehyung thinks. But what is left unanswered is one question, "So we're brothers?" He finally voiced out what bothers him all this time. He is mated with his brother?

This much makes it more worst than it is. He let his brother die in his care, under his watch he let someone of the same blood as him suffer. He waited in anticipation for the answer hoping for something more logical than him and Seokjin being brothers. His father opened his mouth and blurted out the answers he's been looking for.

"No, you're not my son, Taehyung. I am not your father."

I'm acting really weird lately, this morning I wrote a chapter listening to Hope World, Base Line, Hangsang and Airplane pt.1. Tonight, it's Pied Piper, 2nd Grade, Hip Hop Lover, and A Brand New Day.

I mean this is an emotional chapter and I'm listening to songs that makes me wanna dance 😂 I can't understand myself.
