12. GOLDEN EYES

Three years passed ...

Three years passed since that unfaithful day. I was facing the sea and brought flowers with me. There has not been a day that passed that I haven't been here, Seokjin was gone but his presence never left me. I felt like he became one with the sea. The sea became my best friend as I turn back and closed that chapter of my life. The sea became my way of communicating with Seokjin, talking to him about everything that happened to me as I became the leader of our pack, about my internal struggles as the days goes by without him to calm me down. How different it would have been if things weren't this way.

"Seokjin, it's been three years, I miss you, you know? I know we never had good memories before, but despite everything, you still fulfilled your duty as my mate, you still manage to calm me down. I wish you were here to see how things drastically changed here in our pack. How male Omegas were not afraid to come out now, how Alphas respected your kind, the credit goes all to you, Seokjin. If it's not for you none of us would be aware of how hard it is to be in your shoes.

I was wrong when I said that you were not the perfect Alpha for me. Funny how I keep calling you a Luna before but father said that you as my mate, you were supposed to be called an Alpha too. How awesome is that? It's like upgrading you to a much higher version of yourself. From an Omega to a mighty Alpha.

I can feel the breeze touching my face as I face the orange tinted sky, I will just stay here until I can see the Stars in the sky shining brightly at me. I will continue to talk to Seokjin pretending he's still here. Father sometimes joins me and we'll talk about everything. It's like a silent agreement that we won't let Seokjin feel left out of what happens to our lives, and I've been faithful to let him know every possible details of my life.

"By the way, Seokjin, did I already told you that a powerful pack leader will come here tomorrow to declare alliance with our pack, and the great news there was he's and Omega too like you. They say he's taken over the leadership a year ago and has earned great respect already. I will know tomorrow how he will be like and then decide if we should allow him to make alliance with our pack. I don't want to make a mistake once again, Seokjin. Guide me, okay?"

I let go of the flowers that I brought and let it float on the sea. My soul still feels incomplete, but I try to get by day by day. I promised Seokjin that I will live for the both of us and will always tell him know beautiful the world is.

"Seokjin, do you know that V hasn't talked to me yet? I miss my wolf. When you vanished he also shut me out completely. I miss that grumpy guy too. If he's here the three of us might talk about almost everything, right?

I'm still feeling guilty of what happened to you, Seokjin, I will forever be. I owe you a lot that's why it's no surprise that my own wolf abandoned me."

Seokjin's departure from this world caused me to lose my wolf also, he won't talk to me but I can feel him grieving every day. Not a single day that he hasn't mourn over his mate. V is a constant reminder that I messed up big time.

V's disappearance affected me a lot. I can never turn into my wolf form anytime I wish, he won't let me. I tried talking to him but he won't listen to me and I completely understand that.

I continued to talk to Seokjin until midnight before I get home, "Seokjin, I will go home now, look out for me, huh? Watch out for me always. I miss you everyday."

I waved at the sea goodbye and headed straight home to rest and sleep.

Morning came and everyone was busy pacing back and forth running around because of the coming visitor. They prepared a banquet for them as a sign of accepting them here in our pack with open arms. Today looks like a festival and everyone is looking happy and excited.

A loud trumpet was heard and it was a sign that the visitor is already here. Three men appeared and I lost my breath just by looking at one particular person. I know half of the pack noticed that too, when they saw the black haired man, they shifted their gazes towards me.

My heart ached and it started beating faster again.

How can they look so much alike?

His milky skin, his nose, eyes, pink lips, and body proportions was as same as Seokjin's but his hair and eyes were different. Seokjin has natural brown locks paired with sparkling blue orbs, while this man approaching me has greenish golden eyes that seemed to pierce to my soul with his jet black hair.

They all went past me and walked straight to our meeting place while greeting everyone who is also stunned looking at the person who looked like Seokjin.

I rushed to keep up with them and we proceed to the meeting. The said guy didn't spoke a word the whole time, instead it's his assistant who spoke the whole time.

"Excuse me, Mr. Kim, are you listening?" His right hand man called for my attention and I was taken away from my trail of thoughts as I kept looking at the man who shakens the hell out of me.

"I'm sorry yes. I'm paying attention." He proceeded talking about the said alliance in both camps and I agreed to their conditions a very simple one, exchanging our goods with them and not mess with one another. A good deal that I accepted.

"So were leaving now. Thank you." They bid goodbye but I didn't let them and called for their attention.

"Wait! Can I talk to your leader privately?"

They exchanged looks as I said those words and a few seconds later, Seokjin's lookalike is left here in the room. I can smell his scent dominating the room, it's not the same as Seokjin's but it's as powerful, but it doesn't bring me calm. He smelled like strawberry while my Seokjin smelled like vanilla. I ended my thoughts and paid attention to the guy in front of me.

"I know it's kinda weird, but may I know your name?"

I tried to sound confident and natural but I know I failed. I know he'll think I'm suspicious.

"I'm Jin. Why do you ask?"

Shit! Even their voice is the same! What witchcraft is this?

"Do you happen to have a twin? A lost twin maybe?"

I was out of thoughts and asked him nonsense things. I was so starstruck at what I'm witnessing.

"No, I don't. If you're not going to ask any sensible questions I will excuse myself, don't waste my time." Jin walked away from his office and I just looked at him in awe. Seojin won't say such things to me, he's too nice to be like that, they are different people, that's for sure.

"V, what do you think? Answer me just one time please!"

I am getting frustrated and I needed someone to talk to about this and V is the rightest one to turn to this time.

"He's danger."
