I walked with Nick into my parent's house (more like mansion) and had the little boy from earlier holding my hand with his brother in tow. I smiled down at him and he gave me a cheeky grin. He was just so darn cute! I had to refrain from cooing at his adorableness. When we got inside, there were a few people sitting around the rather large table, my brother being one of them. I saw him and smiled before waving to him.
When I sat the little boy down next to me at the table, my father immediately shot out of his seat at the head and went up to him. "Hey little dude. Do you know how important you are to us?" he asked him with a twinkle in his eye. The little boy giggled and shook his head with his nose turned up. I had to hold back an awww that really wanted to come out when he did this.
Suddenly, I hear a high pitched giggle. What the...? Then I see this beautiful girl that walked in with a big smile on her face. I felt small and inferior to her. She walked like she owned the place and her head was held high. "Noah!" she squealed as he stood up and she basically thre herself into his open arms. He pulled back after a bit and smiled down at her with love and admiration. Strange.
"Oh right," Noah says after looking at my confused face. "Kate, this is my girlfriend, Jakie. Jakie, this is my long lost sister, Kate," he says introducing us. She gives me a fake, sweet dripping smile. I hate her already. She waves to me and gives me a fake happy 'hi!'. She looks me up and down with disgust written in her eyes. I want to laugh at her, maybe I'll get her a little taste of what I can do. I look at her manicured hands and send her a little heat right through the middle of the top of her hand. She yelps and looks at me with fear.
I give her a fake smile back and wave back. She glares at me while holding her hand with the other one. I like this already. She thinks she's big and bad because she has my brother, wait and see. I'm not scared of girls that think they are better than me. I've had to deal with girls like her before and put then in their place.
My brother looks unfazed by our mental fight and keeps looking at her like she's the only one in the room. Poor boy, he doesn't know she is just using him and he actually has feelings. I mentally hug him for the pain he will go through when she's done with him and finds the next best thing.
I hear a low chuckle coming form the walk way into the dinning room. I automatically turn towards the sound and get ready to attack if necessary, that's when I see him. This guy looks a lot like a lot buffer, bigger, and stronger version of Nick. Who is this guy? The only difference between him and Nick is their eyes and he had a cocky smile on his face, while Nick's were usually more genuine and playful. The guy looks me up and down in approval and I wiggle under his gaze. What is with the guys in this town?
"Please excuse my cousin, she doesn't know how to knock it would seem," he says in a low voice before letting out an amused chuckle. He never takes his eyes off me while he talks. I shiver under the intense look in his eyes.
"It's okay Mathew, the more the merrier in this house!" Noah beams at him. So his name is Mathew, noted. Mathew smiles at my brother and breaks his gaze on me for a second to look at him before doing that weird bro greeting hug thingy I've seem some of the guys around here doing.
I feel someone grab the bottom of my shirt and look over at little Adam. "What's up little monkey?" I ask while looking into his adorable big eyes. He smiled at me and told me to get closer to him with his little index finger. Could this kid get anymore cute?! I lean down to hear what he has to say.
"River has a crush on you," he whisper yells in my ear, obviously not knowing how to whisper right. I giggle at how cut he is.
"Who is River?" I ask him in an amused voice. He's so cute! He blushes and tries to subtly point to his red face brother. Keyword being tries. His brother catches him pointing and looks at me before looking down to his lap in embarrassment. Awwwww. He looks to be about two years younger than me, but he still has a baby face and looks so cute!
