*MING POV*
"If you put those things aside, do you 'like me' like me?" I asked.
He looks away from me.
"Haha stop joking around Ming" he said, tapping my arm.
I took his hand and held it tight. I looked at him hungrily, I want this man.
"I am not joking around P'" I said seriously.
"Didn't you go out with Kit?don't tell me you are just leading him on"he said.
"P', It's true that I met P'Kit before you. But if you only knew,I fell for you P'" I answered.
"How can I believe what you say, when your action says otherwise?" He asked.
I took his hand and put it on my chest. My heart was beating loudly,as I looked deep into his eyes.
"Can you feel it P'? This is how I feel when I am near you.. no when I know that I am even breathing the same air as you"I started.
"But I thought you really like-" he reasoned out but I cut him off.
"Because you rejected me! I told you how I felt for you but you told me you like Yo. How am I supposed to react?And the mere fact that Yo isn't serious about you,pissed me off even more. Why can't it be me?" I yelled.
"But what about Kit, I can't--" he starts but I cut him off again by pulling him into a tight hug.
"P'Pha.. please tell me how you really feel. Look at me one more time,eye to eye that you don't feel feel the same for me. If you do, this time I will really give up, I will stop chasing you. I will not show my face to you or your friends anymore. I won't ever step one foot in the medical facility"I said.
I could feel him tremble in my arms,as soft sobs can be heard from him. I was about to release him from the hug when he pulled me close and hugged me tightly.
"You... you're so unfair. I don't want to choose between you or my best friend"he started.
"You don't have to..."I said but this time it was me who was cut off as he cupped my face into his hand and pressed his lips against mine.
I was caught by surprise, but I wrapped my arms around his waist. I closed my eyes and kissed him back.
I deepened the kiss holding him closer.
He suddenly breaks off the kiss, and pulls me into another tight hug again. I hugged him back and rubs his back.
"MingKwan, I like,no I love you! So please don't give up on me!" I heard him say in between sobs.
I continued rubbing his back, I break off from him. I raise my hand and slowly wiped his tears away.
"I love you P'Pha, please go out with me" I said.
He looks as me a bit surprised at first, but then nods his head.
"Y-yes MingKwan. I am yours " I heard him say, making my heart melt.
I raised his chin and kissed him on the lips.
"It's final right?no take backs?" I asked.
*PHA POV*
"It's final right?no take backs?" he asked.
I smiled and nodded as I held his hand,with him holding it back. He may be the man my best friend wants but this time, I don't want to lose him.
"So that means we're dating?"he asked, trying to be sure.
"Stop asking or I'll change my mind"I told him.
He smiles and holds my hand.
"But let's keep this between ourselves for now" I told him.
"Okay P', what do we do about P'Kit and Yo?"he asked me.
With him asking me that I frowned, it dawned on me. By accepting him, means I have betrayed my best friend.
"Hey, I know what you're thinking. That you accepting me, means betraying P'Kit. But P'Pha, please .. for once put your feelings first before anyone else"he said
Hearing those words,made me feel better. I nod and kissed him on the cheek.
"This time, I won't let anyone take away what's important to me" I said.
"Tell me honestly P, how did you feel when I went on that date with P'Kit?" he asked.
"I hated it. The moment you came thru with that bouquet of roses in hand, I wanted to take that bouquet and smack the shit out of you" I said.
"Smack the shit out of me or you wanted that bouquet for yourself?" he teased, making my cheeks red.
"P', now that we're going out. I want you to promise me, starting from now on... no more hiding. No lying, whatever you feel,please let me know" he said.
I smile and I nod.
"P', I know you feel uneasy. But I want you to know that even though I am a player, when I am in a relationship I am very faithful" he reassured me.
"I am going to reject P'Kit"he stated.
I look at him, startled by his declaration and his statement..
"P', how are you gonna feel if I'm going out with you and you force me to keep this charade up with P'Kit"he asked.,with that question I felt my chest tighten.
"Okay,okay! I was jealous. To be honest, I regretted my decision before. I hated when you went on a date with him, I hate it when you had your arms around him"I confessed.
"Finally, you admit it. But one thing I never done with him P', I never kissed him. Even though I went on that date with him, the thought of kissing him never crossed my mind"he said.
A blush on my cheeks become more evident than ever.
"Good.. because starting from now on, all of you..belongs to only me. Beware MingKwan, I am a really jealous and possessive person when it comes to the one I love" I warned.
"Bring it on. I wouldn't have it any other way" he say confidently as I stood up then suddenly sat on his lap and kissed his lips.
"Mine" I said as I hugged him tightly.
"I love you P'Pha" he said.
I smiled.
"I love you too MingKwan"I replied.
With this, I was home. I was where I'm supposed to be.. in his arms, back in this warmth.
