*PHA POV*
It's been almost 4 hours since they took Ming inside the operating room. No one came out and updated me about his condition yet and I am fearing the worst already. Beam and Forth came back with food in hand.
"Ai'Pha.. just calm down and have something to eat"Beam said.
"I can't.. I don't want anything.."I answered.
"Pha, I know you're afraid. But starving yourself won't do you any good. Ming wouldn't want you doing this.. please just eat, even just a little bit" Beam insisted.
I sat down,took the sandwich from him and took a bite. He handed me some water which I gratefully accepted. I took a breath and tried to calm myself down.
Suddenly the doors opened and the doctor came out.
"Are you guys with the gunshot victim?"she asked.
I stood up and approched her.
"Yes,we are. I am his lover. Is he okay doc?" I asked,filled with worry.
"He lost a lot of blood..."she began.
My body started to feel cold, hearing that sentence doesn't sound good.
"But he made it. We were able to take the bullet out, gave him blood and he's being transported to the recovery room as we speak. He's very lucky, the bullet didn't hit any major organs"she explained.
I sighed in relief, tears fell from my eyes.
"Can I see him doc?" I asked her.
"Well I suggest you let him rest up. You should too. You guys go home,take a nice shower and come back in the morning"she suggested.
"Sounds like a plan Doc, thank you so much"Forth thanked her.
She nods and went her own way. I hugged Forth and Beam.
"Thank you guys... I wouldn't know what to do"I said.
They hugged me back.
"Ai'Pha,how bout you stay over with me and Forth tonight. You have some clothes at my place. We can come and see Ming tomorrow morning"Beam said.
"Look at you being a worrywart... I thought I was the daddy of the group"I teased.
"You still are. We just want to make sure you're okay"Beam answered.
"Fine" I replied.
We made our way towards the parking lot,got in Beam's car and drove off towards his dorm.
*KIT POV*
I arrived at the hospital, I parkes my car and hurriedly made my way to the front desk.
"Can I help you sir?"the girl asked.
"Umm.. I'm here to see WaTeng Kumikappat"I replied.
"Are you family Sir?"she asked.
"Well kinda. I am his fiance" I lied.
"I see. Take his pass, go up to the 2nd floor. He's in room 2001"she said as she handed me a piece of paper and directed me to the elevator.
I took it up to the 2nd floor. I stepped and made my way towards his room. I knocked before peeking in. He turned and faced me.
"P'Kit?Ouch!"he said as he tried to sit up,wincing in pain.
"Don't overexert yourself stupid" I told him as I helped him lay back down in bed.
"Sorry. I just can't believe you're here" he said.
"Well here I am. Gosh! You look like shit"I said as I looked at all the bruises he had and the cut on his lip.
"Don't I look hot with my battle scars"he joked.
I clicked my tongue and poked his bruise.
"Aish! P'Kit that hurts"he whined
"Stop being stupid and rest"I said.
"Are you leaving?"he asked, a sad expression on his face.
A nurse knocked and came inside.
"Excuse me Sir, but visiting hours are over... or did you want to stay overnight?"she asked.
"Umm.. is it possible to stay?"I asked her, as I said this I could see his face light up.
"Yes it is possible. I can go get the recliner for you, if you wish to stay that is"she answered.
"Yes, I will stay then.Thank you" I said.
She nods,smiles and leaves the room.
"Waah!P'Kit is staying over... I am so happy!"he yelled out happily.
"Shh... stop making so much noise or I'll change my mind and go home" I said.
"Okay. But P',how'd you know I was here"he asked.
"I was about to go to bed but I turned the tv on and that was the first thing I heard"I replied.
"Awww..so you were worried and came to check on me"he said, making my face red.
"N-No! I am more worried about Pha and Ming"I blurted out,embarrassed. He pouts.
"And here I thought you were worried for me too"he said.
I sighed.
"Fine. I was worried okay?"I admit.
"You were?does that mean P'Kit likes me?"he asked.
"I don't know..."I started, I could see him frown.
"Stop frowning. I say I don't know because I don't know how I feel about you yet. You were one day Ming's friend, the next you come and start invading my life"I continued.
"I don't know what you mean to me, but when I heard your name and the fact that something bad happened to you... it frightened me! I was scared to lose you. I have trust issues and it will take a while for me let you in... but if you can wait-" I said but he cut me off.
"I'll wait! I already told you before, I am a very patient guy. I will wait for you and do everything in my power to make you love me" he said ina serious tone.
I blushed real hard upon hearing his answer. The same nurse knocked and came in bringing the recliner chair for me to use.
I thanked and I sat down on the chair. It's not as comfy as a bed bur it will do.
"Thanks for staying over P"he said.
I smiled as I reached over and held his hand.
"Go to sleep"I said.
"Good night P', sweet dreams"he said.
"You too"I said.
He squeezed my hand, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
