*KIT POV*
Today,Ten will finally get discharged. I had already offered to pick him and bring him home. I made my way to the front desk, the lady who always greets me was there.
"Ah, N'Kit! Here to visit your fiance I see"she said.
I just smiled, I felt bad for lying to her from the start. I visited here so many times,she already knows my name and Ten's room number. She printed me the guest pass and handed it over to me.
"Here you go, enjoy your visit"she said.
"Thank you P'" I said as I took the ticket from her.
I proceeded to go up to his floor and made my way to his room. I knocked before entering.
"Who's there?"Ten asked.
"It's me, are you decent?"I asked.
He opens the door and greeted me with a smile.
"Hey P'Kit, come in!"he said as he opened the door and let me in.
I followed him inside,he was all packed up and ready to go.
"All ready huh?Not gonna miss this place?"I teased.
"Not at all... although I'll miss your nightly sleepovers"he answered.
I just shake my head, this guy just simply says what's on his mind. The doctor knocks and comes into the room.
"Mr. WaTeng Kumikipatt, you're all cleared to go home. This is your prescription for pain meds and come back in 2 weeks so I can check on your stitches"the doctor instructed.
"Thanks doc"Ten replied.
"Good luck young man,stay out of trouble this time"the doctor lat Ten's shoulder before leaving the room.
"Well,shall we go P'?But can we stop over to ger food first?Hospital food is not really my thing"Ten said.
I just chuckled, this guy really loves to eat. I decided to let him have his way. We carried his things and took the elevator down to the lobby. We went past the front desk,I forgot the same lady was still there.
"Ah! N'Kit, leaving so soon?"she started,then looked at the person behind me and smiled. My eyes widen and looked at her nervously.
"Oh!and this must be your fiance, I'm glad he's all better. I remember when you came the first time , you were all flustered and panicking. I'm gonna miss you coming to the hospital. Good luck to you both "the lady rambled on, Ten turned to me with a look of surprise at first but then grinned from ear to ear. My ears and face became hot.
"Uh yeah P', he got discharged
Thank you for everything. We must go,have a good day!"I said,as I hurriedly walked towards the parking lot. Ten tried to keep up with me, but couldn't because of his wounds.
"P'Kit!Wait for me!"he said.
I stopped dead in my tracks and turned to check up on him. He was panting and catching his breath.
"Are you okay?Don't over exert yourself"I told him.
"I won't. So..."he said,grinning.
