*PHA POV*
"M-Ming" Kit started.
"P'? Are you alright?"Ming asked.
He reached out and held Ming's hand,looking at him intently.
"Ming, I like you!"Kit confessed.
Ming was taken aback,not really expecting Kit to actually confess to him.
"I like you a lot Ming, I like hanging out with you and I always want to see you. P-please be my boyfriend" Kit asked.
I could tell Kit was very nervous, I've never seen my best friend act this way. My heart breaks for him.
"It's a surprise hearing it from you P'Kit. I didn't expect it at all"Ming said.
"Then,you'll go out with me?"Kit said eagerly.
"I... I'm sorry, P'Kit. But I already have someone" Ming answered.
Kit raised his eyebrows.
"Who?"Kit asked.
"It's not my place to tell.. I-" Ming started but I went over to where they were. Kit looked at me, appearing to be confused than ever.
"Ai'Pha..are you alright?We'll be back inside, I just needed to talk to him"Kit said,as he turned to Ming.
"Ai'Kit... " I called out to him,making him look at me again.
"What is it Pha?"he asked.
I looked at Ming,took a deep breath and held his hand. Both of us exposing both our bracelets to Kit. Kit's confused expression quickly turned to anger.
"Y-you two?What?!For how long?"he yelled.
"Not that long. It just kind of happened" I answered.
"Ai'Pha! You knew that I liked him, why? Why are you doing this to me?"he yelled.
"I..I tried Kit. I tried to stay away from him, I even broke his heart just so you could have him. But I... I can't give him up anymore.. not even to you"I said. Kit bit his lip, feeling upset by the minute.
"And you" he looked at Ming this time.
"Were you just stringing me along? Tell me you didn't feel anything for me at all"Kit asked.
Ming squeezed my hand.
"I respect and admire you P'Kit, but I can't reciprocate those feelings towards you. I love P'Pha" he told him straight.
"I thought you were my friend Pha, you betrayed my trust. I don't want you anywhere near me at all. I hope you both will never be happy" Kit said bitterly, before wiping his tears and hurriedly went inside the restaurant.
My knees went weak, Ming supported me. I sighed, as tears starting forming in my eyes. Ming turned to me and slowly wiped them away.
"I'm sorry P'Pha... please don't cry" he apologized. I held his hand and shook my head.
"I already expected this to happen. The moment I chose to be with you, I know there will be sacrifices. But I know you're worth it MingKwan"I said.
