Part 3

Griffins POV

Stephanie came over to our table after y/n had left and said "hey, my friend Taylor over there thinks you're cute and wants to know if you want to come along with us to an escape room?"
"Wait are you serious? Yeah sure I'll come"
"Oh and also my friend Connor likes y/n. Tell her to come along as well"
"Sure..."
Stephanie walked away and I felt so many emotions at once. I felt joy that Taylor liked me, but I felt something else. It felt weird that someone liked y/n. I looked at Taylor and she smiled.

School finally finished and I walked over to Taylor and said "hey, when are we going to the escape room?"
"We are going on Saturday"
"Okay" I smiled at her and she smiled back.

The next few days were a blur. I had started hanging out with Taylor and her friends and y/n hadn't come to school. Louis and Stephanie were dating and I hadn't had time to tell y/n about Connor. I saw y/n walking up ahead of us. Weird, she hadn't waited for us. I messaged Taylor

Hey, how are you

Taylor💕
Hey, I'm good x

That's good

Taylor💕
I have to go, see you at school

I walked up to y/n and said "y/n, where have you been?"
"I've been sick..."
"Well I've been meaning to tell you that Connor likes you"
"What, that's bull"
"No lie. They want you to come to the escape room with us tomorrow"
"Sure"

*time skip*

Y/n POV

It was finally Saturday and we were all at the escape rooms. I had found out Taylor and Griffin were dating. It hurt me but I knew I needed to move on. Louis and Stephanie were dating. Connor and I were half dating. We were waiting for our turn to go in and Connor and I sat next to each other. We were talking when all of a sudden he said "you look really pretty today" I blushed and said "thanks. You don't look to bad yourself" we both started laughing. Connor was a really nice guy. He gently brushed his finger against my cheek. We went into the escape rooms and worked through the first few. We got to one which had a lounge room. Louis and Stephanie sat down next to each other, Griffin and Taylor day together and Connor and I sat together. Connor put his arm around me and I looked into his eyes. Out of nowhere we started kissing. The others were all kissing as well. I kissed Connor back. I opened one eye and I saw Griffin looking at me. I closed my eye and kissed Connor again.
*time skip*
We had successfully gotten through all the escape rooms and Connor and I walked out holding hands. "Well now lets all go to Taylor's house for that party!" We all got in the car and drove to Taylor's house. People started showing up and we were all inside. I saw Griffin with Taylor and he said something to her. She looked a bit sad but then she said something back to him and he looked happy. Connor came up behind me. I could smell the alcohol on his breath. "Hey babyyy" his words were slurred. He put his hand on my waist and kissed my neck. I turned around and said "Conner do NOT touch me like that! You are drunk!"
"Come on babyyy"
"Connor I don't want to date you, I don't have feelings for you. I thought you were nice but you are just a disgusting pig!" And I walked outside. I heard something inside so I went back in and saw Griffin try to through a punch at Connor. "You selfish pig! You do not ever, EVER, touch my best friend like that!"
Griffin missed and just as he turned around, Connor punched him in the face. Griffin fell to the ground and I ran over to him. He opened his eyes and said "ow, my head" Griffin and I walked out of the party. "You okay?"
"Well my head hurts but I'm okay. I can't believe Conner was that drunk and that stupid"
"He acted like such a nice guy. Guess I was stupid"
"You're not stupid! You're my best friend" I smiled and said "so how are things with you and Taylor?"
"Oh that. Yeah we aren't together anymore"
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine" since we both didn't have a ride, we had to walk. Griffin had a massive black eye. He touched it and said "ow!"
"That looks painful"
"It's more then painful" we laughed and finally arrived at his house. No one was home so I came inside with him. I got an ice pack from the fridge and put it on his eye. He winced and grabbed my hand. He let go and said "I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay" I smiled and grabbed his hand and held it. Griffin smiled and after awhile he fell asleep. I left quietly and walked home...
