It made no sense. Why would someone kill Mr Winks over a necklace? I had been up all night thinking about it. I grabbed my phone and messaged Griffin. He was probably asleep. I tried to fall asleep and eventually I did.
I woke up and got ready for school. I walked to school because Griffin was sick and couldn't come. I had walked past Mr winks's apartment and there was flowers outside it. I finally got to school and saw Chloe. She came over and said "hey, where's Griffin?"
"He's sick" I replied. I walked into the school and sat down in my homeroom. I looked at the seat next to me and there was a bag there. It wasn't anyone in my home rooms because no one had a denim bag. Must be new. I looked up and saw a guy walk in. He had dark curly hair and little brown skin. He sat down on the chair next to me. He turned to me and said "hey, I'm Levi Montez"
"Hey, I'm y/f/n y/l/n". He smiled at me and he had the cutest dimples. "I'm new so do you think you could show me around?" He asked. "I would love to" I smiled at him. Our teacher walked in and everyone sat down as she started speaking.
