The Red Queen was cold hearted for no one loved her or at least that's what she thought, and so she ruled wickedly over her people. Those who defied her were put to death with the common line of, "Off with your head." She was rather impatient when it came to getting things done and if you were to waste her time you'd lose your head.

She was definitely going to be an obstacle for the traveller who was planning on stealing her heart, though he would have to thaw it first. His plan was simple, she ruled the smaller kingdom so it was only logical for him to start there first and then he'd overthrow the larger kingdom. Fate was in his own hands or at least he thought it was.

Although the Red Queen was on her guard most of the time she was weak and naive. You see her sister loved her dearly but she was so blinded by all those who hated her that to be loved was something she secretly craved. However, she'd never let anyone know that. She concealed her feelings and came off as angry and cold to most.

To her fear was better than being treated as a joke and she saw her sister's love for her as pity, often turning her help away. She was beyond stubborn. This was an advantage for the traveller. His first step to his wicked plan was to introduce himself to the Red Queen. Flattering her was going to be the hard part as she was quite bitter to most and honestly speaking she was not his type, but he was in it for the thrown, not for her.

On the day of his arrival to the Red Kingdom, he introduced himself as a traveller which he was. He was quite charming, well his act was. The Red Queen was skeptical about this newcomer but eventually she did let her guard down and of course the power hungry man used this as leverage.

He used her weakness to his advantage by playing with her emotions. After some time he had got to her. He melted her heart and for the first time she felt love or at least she believed she did. But what did she know of love for all the love she was shown she turned away.

The illusion the traveller painted up was working and the Red Queen had a change of heart. She was so love struck that she changed her title to The Queen of Hearts instead of just the Red Queen. Her attitude also changed and she became more loving and caring towards not just the traveller but her people as well.

People started to love her and as the traveller began to wangle his way into her heart, the day he had been waiting for had finally arrived after his long wait. The day she agreed to marry him.
