King Winston stood in the middle of the ballroom staring at the crowd. The Queen of Hearts waved him over but instead of walking towards her he decided to leave the ballroom. He wanted to find her sister. He wanted to get her to like him. His plan would only work if both of them fell in love with him but she seemed more guarded than her older sister.

He walked outside getting a breath of fresh air when he saw her. The moon was out and the garden was beautiful. Her white dress stood out from the darkness that encompassed them and she had no idea he was there, watching her. She spoke to someone between the hedges but he could not see who it was.

"White knight, are you there?" She asked in a whisper.

"Yes, your highness, what is it?" A voice whispered back.

"Do you mind keeping an eye on-" She was about to finish when she heard a twig snap, "I think someone is here you better go." She whispered chasing him off.

"Who were you talking to?" She turned around to see King Winston standing there.

"Just the guard." She moved back averting her gaze from him but instead of giving her, her space he chose to invade it.

She moved back again but he took another step forward. It was strange, each time she moved away he tried to move closer to her.

"I better be getting back." She said clearly feeling uncomfortable as this was her sister's husband.

She was about to leave when he grabbed her by the arm. "Why do you have to be like this," he said trying to pull her towards him, "why can't you be more like your sister?"

"Because you are married to her." She said. It was odd for her that the man who married her sister was trying to court her. He was definitely trouble. He pulled her towards him even more as she tried to get away. His lips were so close to hers when The Queen of Hearts saw.
