------------ The Following Saturday----------

You were at it again, hanging out with Damian at your place.

As usual, you were both in the living room, with a lot of snacks on the table watching whatever movie you thought would be interesting.

You and Damian were cuddling each other while watching, you using his arm as a sort of pillow, though there was a pillow on the couch in your reach but you thought he was more comfortable and not to mention warmer.

Damian was laying behind you, twirling your hair.

You reach for the remote on the living room table a few inches away from you and pause the movie. You then turn around to face Damian and his jade green eyes.

You kiss Damian lightly on the lips then try to pull away but Damian kisses back putting more passion into it.

It was a short but sweet kiss, you both enjoyed.

You get up from your cuddling position and Damian does the same.

You then notice it was almost dark outside.

"Hey, do you just want to talk for a while? I think all this tv is rotting my brain," you said jokingly.

"Sure Gorgeous, what do you want to talk about?" Damian says, completely into the idea of conversing.

"Well, now that I think about it I'm not quite sure."

"I guess something we've never talked about before?" you continue on, hoping Damian would come up with a topic.

You look around the house too see something, anything to talk about. Then you see a family picture sitting on the lamp table in the corner of the room.

"We could talk about family?" you ask, to make sure Damian was comfortable with the topic.

"Right then, go on I will talk about my family after."

"Well, I was born an only child to (M/N) and (D/N) (L/N). As you can expect being an only child they are very overprotective, with my dad being a police and my mom being a nurse they have their areas in my life where they both control the heck out of me. They also tend to put a lot of pressure on me to be the best student in Gotham Academy, but I guess pressure did me good."

"Wow, that's a lot. I guess I can infer you and your parents fight a lot then."

"Yeah, mostly my dad and I and mainly when it's on the principle of boys. You know, he didn't want me to do this project because you, my partner were a boy," you say thinking of your last argument.

"So, I'm guessing you haven't told them about us then?"

"No, not yet I'm still thinking of a good time," you say sadly.

"They might be particularly hard on you since this is the first relationships I've ever been in," you say truthfully but timidly.

"Oh really?" he says, sounding very enthusiastic.

"I guess it's my turn to share now. Well, I was the only child born to Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul. I was raised by my mother and my grandfather, but when I was ten my mother put me under the supervision of my father. She went off to do what she did and I don't keep in touch with her anymore. Worst of all I get stuck with Grayson, Drake, and Todd as brothers." Damian said very plainly.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Damian. You didn't have to tell me that if you didn't wa-"

"No, (Y/N) I wanted to be open with you," he says, so sincerely.

"Because your incredibly important to me," he said staring into your (E/C) eyes.

"And you extremely meaningful to me."

Damian then reaches for your hand, holding it and bringing it up to his lips. Then gently kissing it with his soft, warm lips.

"Well to get off the dismal topic, what do you say we schedule something next week so you can meet my parents?"

"Though your parents seem tough to gratify I will try my very best. You think Wednesday is good?"

"Yeah Wednesday is good, but how could they not like you! You're the full package, you can do literally everything flawlessly, your a gentleman, charming, funny and just the right amount of sarcastic," you say giggling.

"They might not think that they might think I'm only around for other aspects of you."

"I mean I wouldn't put it past my dad, but for the most part I ensure you that by the time you leave my house they will, at the very least like you."

Damian smiles then slowly pecks your lips.

"So, did you actually like the movie we were watching?" you ask, hinting that you wanted to do something else.

"No actually, I just didn't wanna say anything in case you were enjoying it," Damian says truthfully.

You got the answer you wanted.

You then proceed to turn off the TV and grab Damian's hand taking him into your bedroom.

"What are you do-"

He gets cut off by a pillow hitting his face...

Oh, you did not ju-

He again is interrupted by another pillow thrown to his face.

"Oh, It's on," Damian says with a mischievous look on his face.

Then he grabs the two pillows off the floor then hits you square in the face twice with both, but the throws weren't overpoweringly strong, in fact, the pillows just gently touched your face.

In the span of a few minutes, Damian had managed to hit you in the face 10 times.

He was really good at this.

You kept trying to hit him but he always dodged the pillows.

"How?!"

"How what?" Damian says smirking, his emerald green eyes glistening.

"-Are you so good at this?" you say in awe.

Damian then walks towards you slowing, getting closer and closer. He then leans to whisper something in your ear.

"I have the element of surprise" he whispers with his warm breath then quickly grabs a pillow next to you and hits your head lightly with it.

You both break down laughing.

You collect all the pillows scattered around the room and put them back on the bed.

You hop on your bed and sit, legs hanging off the side of the bed.

Damian was sitting on the floor when he says "You know I've only started laughing like this when I got to know you, typically no one can make me laugh."

What Damian had just said made your heart beat faster and you could feeling butterflies flying around your stomach.

Damian stands up and stands at the side of the bed where your feet hung off. He then puts his hands around your waist.

"I don't know what I would do if I ever lost you, Beloved."

You were now making deep eye contact.

"You won't, any problem you face we'll face it together, head-on," you say almost in a whisper.
