The Savoir and The Hunter (Prequel to Season one of DisneyWorks)

Chapter 1: A Family Split

Narrator's pov:

On a cold winter's night, a pregnant women named Fiona was about to give birth to her second child. She could feel the pain coursing through her but she could also see her four year old daughter worry about her. Fiona's husband, Malcolm came running into the delivery room "I'm here Fiona." he whispered to his wife. The pain became even harder, Fiona was screaming so loud that it scared her daughter. The candles went out then were light back on only with hearing the sounds of a child cry.

"It's a healthy baby boy." said the midwife as she handed the child to Fiona. She was crying with tears of joy then called her daughter over "Valka, meet your new brother.." she said. Valka looked at her brother and smiled but before she could say anything, two fairies came flying in. One of them was named Tiger Lily who happens to be Fiona's son's fairy godmother "I believe that this little girl is your daughter?" The Blue Fairy asked. Fiona nodded and Valka walked towards them. She looked at the child and smiled "What's your name little one?" she asked. 

"Valka Stiltskin. Nice to meet you." Valka answered. The Blue Fairy could see that Valka has a sweet and pure heart so as a gift for the little girl, The Blue Fairy gave Valka pure light magic. Fiona was speechless but Malcolm was furious "Are you mad? She will never control those powers!" he shouted at the fairy. "She deserves this gift. It is prophesied that two children were power for great things.  The eldest would be born with the purest heart of any child. The youngest would be born on the darkest winter's night and was known as the Savior." said Tiger Lily.

After a few days of meeting Tiger Lily and The Blue Fairy, Fiona was becoming more protective with her son after reading some of the fairies books. She also taught Valka to control her magic plus Valka would even show her brother her magic. One day, Tiger Lily came with more books for Fiona but she was now protective of her son. She read in the Book of Prophecies that a darkness will be coming for her son and in the final battle, he would be killed.  Valka was worried about her mother, she barely slept or eat without protecting her brother. 

Then Fiona resisted a ancient spell in fairy language which turned her into a fairy. She and Tiger Lily set out to find the greatest evil which would have a crescent mark on their wrist. Valka was watching her brother when Fiona and Tiger Lily came back with a plan "Mama, what's going on?" Valka asked. Fiona didn't answer instead she grabbed both of them and headed to the fairies kingdom to create a new spell. However, the spell was a dark curse that will banish every child. 

Tiger Lily tried to stop Fiona but she wouldn't listen, instead Fiona ripped out Tiger Lily's heart and was about to crush it. But it turned her into a black fairy "Evil wasn't born this winter, it was made. You are destined to defeat your son." explained Tiger Lily. Valka was now heartbroken, Fiona tried to conferred her child but was stopped by the Blue Fairy. She gave Fiona a pair of shears that can sever her destiny but instead Fiona severed her son's destiny then was banished to another realm.

The fairies took Valka and her brother back to their father but not before hearing Fiona shouting out that she will find a way to get back to them. By the time they came back to their father, he was furious with both of them. He wanted the fairies to take back the gift but they told him that a gift from a fairy can't be given back. He then took his son away from them "This child was suppose to bring us light but now he has brought darkness. His name will be Rumpel Von Stiltskin." said Malcolm.

He then turned to Valka and forbid her to ever use her magic. Valka took her brother to their room and hummed the same lullaby that her mother sang to her. "I promise Rumpel, nothing will happen to you." she whispered. She waited for their father to fall asleep then removed her gloves and practiced her powers. She took care of her brother since their father didn't want anything to do with them. However, after a few weeks of depression Malcolm finally become a father to Rumpel but was still cruel to Valka.
