A few weeks after the show I started to get use to the whole camp and even made a few new friends. All though there are something's that I'll never understand like Eva wanting new dead after talking to that boy. I was getting a few magic lessons from Merlin since Fairy Godmother wasn't around "Where is she?" I asked. "Fairy Godmother is getting everything ready for the camp's anniversary. Two campers will do a special duet to start the party." he explained. I was a little excited but a little nervous about this whole thing.
I have been hearing so many people talking about the anniversary party even Ingrid wanted me to try it. "I don't know. I'm still a little shy."I said. "Well, there is an old legend about the anniversary party. Sometimes when two people are chosen, they are destined to be together and with the right song." she explained. The legend did get me thinking but maybe the party would not be so bad "Okay I'll do it." I told Ingrid. She was so happy that I was coming and she even decided to give me a little makeover for tonight.
Ingrid, Iduna and Arianna were all dressed up for the party "Ready to go Val?" Arianna asked. I walked out of the shadows and dressed in a sparkling dress that Ingrid had made me and I added a little touch with my magic. The girls were so shocked to see me like this "Wow. It's like you were in a fairytale." said Arianna. I blushed at the compliment then I grabbed my gem and placed it on my neck as a necklace. Helga was already waiting for us at the entrance of the party "About time you guys got here. Fairy Godmother is about to announce the two people." she said as we rushed in.
We made it just in time for the choosing "I really hope that it's you Val." said Helga. She was right it was me and another person, it was the same boy that I bumped into. I got a little nervous about this but then when I heard the boys voice I started to feel something I never felt before.
Viggo:
Living in my own world, didn't understand That anything can happen, when you take a chance
Valka:
I never believed in what I couldn't see (oh) I never opened my heart (oh) to all the possibilities, ooh

The entire camp cheered when we finished singing "You have a beautiful voice. I'm Viggo." he said. "Thanks, you're not so bad yourself. I'm Valka." I said. We walked off the stage then some sweet slow music came on "May I have this dance?" Viggo asked me. I nodded yes and took his hand, we danced the whole night but then he led me outside towards the lake. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life.
Viggo: "So mind telling me about yourself?"
Valka: "You sure you want to get to know me?"
Viggo: "Well, you did say that someday we will meet again."
Valka: "How did you...?"
Viggo: "Those eye of yours sparkle like when we met at the ball. When I was around you, I felt a strange feeling from you."
Valka: "Thank you. What about you? I already know the prince side of you."
Viggo: "If you say so. But you first."
Valka: "If I show you, promise me that you won't freak out."
(She shows him her magic)
Viggo: "How long have you...?"
Valka: "My whole life. When I was little, a blue fairy gifted me this since my heart was pure. My mother was banished for trying to cast a terrible curse so it was just me, my brother and my father. But my father traded us for youth and I was caught in a twister. I landed here and Fairy Godmother adopted me as her daughter."
Viggo: "I had no idea."
Valka: "I was always teased for having magic and people would call me a freak."
Viggo: "Well, I don't think your a freak."
Valka: "Really?"
Viggo: "Yes. And well, you're not the only one with a unique gift."
Valka: "What do you mean?"
Viggo: "My whole family hates dragons. They kill them for anything. My mother passed away and my father wanted me and my brother to be like him. Ryker is the oldest so he learn pretty quick but me, I never saw dragons as a threat..."
Valka: "But as equals. I used to have one but when I left I never saw it again."
Viggo: "We have so much in common."
Valka: "But I thought you are engaged to Princess Eva?"
Viggo: "It's an arranged marriage but to be honest, I really don't like her. She is the worst and she only wants me for my title. I would rather marry for love."
Valka: " You got that right. So you really don't mind being friends with a servant girl?"
Viggo: "I really don't mind and I was wondering if maybe you want to hang out sometime?"
Valka: "I'd love it."
