"So how did it go?" You were shoulder to shoulder with Shoto, a nice breeze rolling from him. The two of you had gone exploring earlier, finding a nice abandoned bar with people who actually stay there! Shoto didn't really like it, so you didn't stay long, but you liked how beat up the door looked. Reminded you of yourself.

"It, uh." Aizawa looked up from his food and chewed a little quicker. "It went okay. Tryna' set up a court date if we can, but we need to dig a little deeper. Tsukauchi wants to dig a little deeper to see what he can find, and Tamakawa is keeping Endeavour overnight to see what else he can get out of him. We're gonna need you kids-" He looked over to Todoroki. "-And your siblings, to come in for your testimonies. You don't have to, I'm sure we can find something other than abuse on him, but it would help out greatly."

"So he's not going to jail. Is that what you're telling me?" You hardly tilted your head up and looked at him through your brows. Was Endeavour not being arrested? What the hell! "Are the bruises not proof? The burns? What! Does one of us need to die? Is that what it takes for something to get done?"

"(Y/N)." Shoto placed a hand on your shoulder and told you to breathe. "Sir, you saw what he does during training. He's broken my nose before, and I had to convince him to let me go to the hospital. I understand that these things take time, I'm sure (Y/N) does too, but these past fifteen or so years have been highly traumatic for us all." He sat a little straighter and stared down at the slouched hero. "If you'll excuse us, we'll be taking our leave. We will not be heading back to the abode, as I do not trust your word that my father is still at the station. He is manipulative. We are not missing, do not believe it if he says so. Good night."

"Shoto-" He shook his head and sat up, you following suit. Todoroki placed about 5,000 Yen on the table and hooked his arm around yours, opening the door to the chilly evening. "Wow. And you call me impulsive-"

"I want to talk to those people from before, at the bar. I saw a poster that they had on the wall, a torn All Might one. If they don't like the number one hero, I'm sure they won't like the number two." Shoto was determined. The two of you were hurting. You wanted a solution to your problems, and while you weren't quite sure on how Todoroki wanted to handle it, you would go to any length to get Endeavour out of your life.

"Kids! Look, I don't know what to tell you, I'm trying, alright?" Aizawa followed you two, jogging to catch up. "Tamakawa just texted me saying he let Endeavour leave. How did you know he wasn't there anymore? Before I did?"

Shoto turned around to look at EraserHead. "He's not there anymore? Some police force we have. I told you. He is a manipulator. It's just what he does. (Y/N), your phone." You nodded and gave it to him, looking away as both of your phones promptly went up in flames. "Alright, if he had some sort of tracker on them, this'll be the last place we would have been. Let's get moving."

You nodded and linked arms once more, retracing your wandering steps to figure out how to get back to the abandoned bar. Aizawa followed closely behind, quiet except for a few questions here and there.

"Where exactly are we going?" He had quickened his pace to match yours by this point, walking beside Shoto. The streets were less busy near the edges of the city. More dangerous around these parts, especially at night. "It's not safe out here, not for a hero's children-"

"Not my dad." You reminded him, footsteps echoing though the empty streets. He sighed and rolled his eyes. Shoto turned into an alleyway, you matching his pace step for step. Aizawa stumbled after. Your mood lightened as the beaten door came into view, little metal slider and dents glinting against the dim lamps from the street. Todoroki knocked a few times and waited, hearing a few clicks and the slider screeching against the metal door.
