U.A, one of the most prestigious hero high schools in Japan, commonly known for holding the Sports Festival each year, and its mock cities for exams and training. Pumping out countless heroes for decades is just what it does, and you were about to be one of them.

"Writing? Really? We got in on recommendations and we still have to test? This is so boring..." You stretched your arms as you walked to the gates of U.A., Shoto on your left eyeing the building. He looked at its vast expanse before taking note of what you complained about.

"Placement testing. Just because we get in on recommendations does not mean that we are the best in the school. Besides, there are two classes for the hero course." Shoto held the front door open as you took your time walking the steps of the school, looking at your paper from time to time. It was mailed out a few days prior and being totally honest, you had forgotten about the exams completely. Nevertheless, the paper served as a guide to where you would be testing. And when the halls finally diverged, you went on your separate ways, being in different rooms.

All of the halls in the school looked the exact same, or at least really fucking similar. The only differentiation between it all was the little plaques on the intersections, to indicate which hall it was, and on each of the doors, to signify the room number. You had to go up two, TWO, flights of stairs to get where you were going, 2-C. It was the second door on the left in the C hall, and there were a few people hovering around the entryway conversing about whatever.

You shoved past them and sat in the seat closest to the door, wanting to leave as quickly as possible when you were done with your exam. A few more people walked through the door, still being loud and chatty. They were all strangers, not a familiar face in the room. You supposed that was for the best, you would probably talk a storm to the people you knew.

Finally, a teacher came through the door. You knew her as the pro hero Midnight. She looked disinterested, brows furrowed and heels stomping as she stood at the podium. "Alright, I'll hand out your tests shortly. No cheating. If caught, you will be failed immediately. You will not be able to try for another test until the next school season. You will not be given a chance to take the physical exam if you cheat..."

She straightened the papers in her hand, walking around the podium and popping her hip. "If I see you looking at an outside source, someone else's paper, phone, etc., I will count that as cheating. You will be sent from the room and your test will be failed." You couldn't help but stare as she passed out the tests. Something about her was stunning to you. Her figure, or personality. She seemed professional, especially considering the stigma around her. She's always sexual on the tv or at least portrayed that way.

"No talking. I want complete silence until everyone is done. When you're done testing, you are free to roam the school. The cafeteria is on the first floor. Lunch Rush I'm sure will be more than happy to make you all a snack." She stood back at the podium and waved around a book as she finished. "Just let me know when you leave. You may begin your testing."

You took this chance to skim through the packet, looking for the easier questions to do first. "Who's the number one hero", "Who's ranked highest in most saves", "When was the hero commission formed", "How many spots are on the hero billboard chart" . . . just simple things.

In all, there were 250 questions. You did them all in about... one and a half hours. Two other kids had already finished, some snobby-looking girl with black hair tied back in a ponytail, and this equally as snobby-looking boy with dark blue hair shoved in a messy bun. He had finished almost immediately after the girl, her waiting at the door for him as they walked out. That had been about thirty minutes ago.

You turned in your paper and left, of course after telling Midnight. The physical part of your exam was in two hours, so you had time to wander. Maybe you could find the other two who finished? Or see if Shoto was done. Thinking through it, you could do both. If you remembered correctly, Shoto was taking his exam on the first floor, 1-A, you think it was. You could look for the dark-haired pair if he was still taking it, and if he was done, you could look for them together.
