21. The Fight Has Just Begun

As thousands of people were trying to leave the city either on foot or by cars, hundreds of Ultrons were crawling out of the ground or coming from the sky, flying towards the civilians.

"Run, go!" Andria heard Wanda saying to some people behind her, as she formed a barrier between herself and an Ultron, trying to avoid its blasts and protect the people.

As Andria shot two Ultrons, she heard a yelp of pain which came out of Wanda.

Turning to her direction, she saw her on the ground, while the Ultron in front of her was ready to send a blast at her.

Andria turned her gun to it and shot it, drawing its attention just in time to prevent it from casting the blast.

As the Ultron turned again to Wanda who was now trying to get on her feet, Andria ran to it and did a flying triangle choke the moment it raised its hand to send the blast to Wanda.

As the Ultron tried to get Andria off its body, she shot it straight in its Arc Reactor.

They both fell down, but Andria landed on her feet and helped Wanda up.

"You okay?"
"Thank you," Wanda said almost out of breath.

She had unshed tears in her eyes and it was obvious she wasn't used to fighting, making Andria feel bad for her.

"Go," Andria pushed her towards the rest of the people, as three new Ultrons came to their direction.

Avoiding their blasts and successfully taking them down, Andria ran towards the bridge Steve was at.

Getting there, she saw Pietro breaking five Ultrons that were standing the one after the other by just running and pushing them aside.

Stumbling a bit, he landed on his knees, the exact same time the city started to tremble and the road started breaking where he was standing.

The part of the city they were at, was starting to rise up towards the sky.

Grabbing the collar of Pietro's shirt, Andria tossed him aside right in time to prevent him from falling off the flying ground.

He got up and was about to say something when the piece of ground they were standing on broke loose from the rest of the city in the sky.

Just in time, Pietro grabbed Andria by her waist and picked her up, running towards a steadier place.

Putting her down again, they both saw the piece of ground they were standing on seconds ago, dropping down.

"Thanks for that," Andria turned to him.
"You've saved me twice. I need to save you one more time and we're even," Pietro said with a smirk, before running away.

Andria shook her head, chuckling and for a few seconds she forgot they were in the middle of a fight.

She had a knot in her stomach and all she could think was the boy with the platinum hair, before Ultron's voice snapped her back in the reality.

"Do you see the beauty of it? The inevitability. You rise, only to fall. You, Avengers, you are my meteor. My swift and terrible sword. And the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. It means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal," his voice echoed through the entire city.

Andria looked around her, as buildings trembled and fell, people were screaming and the bridge was surrounded by thousands of Ultrons that were casting blasts towards every direction.

"Cap, you've got incoming," Tony said through the communicator, while Andria noticed an Ultron pushing Steve on a car.

"Incoming already came in," Steve answered, struggling to get up.

"Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job: tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off," Andria heard him saying, while shooting as many Ultrons as she could.

Suddenly, a big blast hit Andria's shoulder, making her fall down, while crying out in pain.

"You should have stayed in high school," she heard the Ultron that had hit her saying.

When she turned to it, it was about to cast a blast right in her face, but Thor send his hammer and smashed the Ultron into pieces.

As Thor retrieved his hammer, he approached Andria and gave her his hand which she took getting on her feet.

"You okay?" He asked, worried.
"Uh, well... It's going to leave a mark, but I'll live," she said and he chuckled, before Andria thanked him and he took off.

She took out the two electroshock batons from her back holster, before she heard a loud roar.

Turning to its direction, she saw Bruce turned into Hulk smashing Ultrons.

Five of them circled Andria, as she swirled the batons in her hands.

"Alright," she smirked and avoiding a blast, she attacked one of them electroshocking it.

She did the same to the other two and turned to face the last two, but they were already on the ground.

Natasha was standing between the smashed suits, two electroshock batons in her hands.

"Took you and Banner long enough," Andria said to her.
"Yeah. Thanks for thinking to bring these," Natasha pointed at the two electroshock batons Andria had previously given to Bruce.
"What are friends for?" Andria smirked and they both turned towards the Ultrons flying to Steve's direction.

"Alright, we are all clear here," Clint said through the communicator as Steve, Natasha and Andria were smashing down Ultrons.

"We are not clear. We are very not clear," Steve shouted.
"Alright, coming to you," Clint said again.

As Andria was fighting two of the Ultrons with her daggers, Pietro arrived holding Wanda bridal style.

Letting her down, she started casting blasts towards the Ultrons.

She seemed more confident and determined to fight than the last time Andria had seen her.

"Hold your fire," the man in charge of the police yelled, making the small group of the sokovian police department stop shooting at the Ultrons, because of Wanda being in front.

As Pietro was running next to his sister, a bullet from a police officer went through his bicep.

He stopped and turned to the police officer, raising his hands in the air in disbelief and annoyance.

Andria chuckled, but turned her gaze away from him and stabbed an Ultron that tried to attack her.

Turning back to Pietro's direction, Andria saw him staring at her with a smirk plastered on his face.

He winked at her and she smiled, before he ran away just like she turned towards another Ultron, kicking it backwards and stabbing its Arc Reactor.
