37. Team Captain

The next day Andria and Bucky got in the back seat, while Sam was in the passenger's seat and Steve drove the car towards the Leipzig-Halle Airport. They stopped, however, a little outside of it to meet Sharon and get their weapons.

After some minutes, she stopped with her car in front of theirs and got out just like Steve did. He joined her at her car to take their stuff, while Sam, Andria and Bucky watched them talking.

"Can you move your seat up?" Bucky asked Sam, as he barely fit in the back along with Andria.

"No," Sam said and Andria rolled her eyes, as they were both acting like five-year-old boys.

Not even a minute passed and Andria felt Bucky getting closer to her, so he could have more space.

She sighed kind of annoyed and turned to Sam.

"Sam," she said in an intimidating tone.
"No," he repeated sternly, annoying her even more.

Andria rolled her eyes and kicked Sam's seat up, making both it and him go a bit forward.

He turned to look at her in both shock and annoyance ready to move his seat back again, but she just glared at him.

"Don't you dare," she said and he just turned around again, mumbling something about Bucky being an asshole.

Andria looked at Bucky, who just nodded thankfully and moved back to his seat.

When they all turned to face Steve and Sharon again, the two of them kissed, making both Sam and Bucky smile and Andria roll her eyes, but smile either way.

Once the two separated and Sharon got back into her car to leave, Steve turned to look at the three and rolled his eyes, seeing their smiles.

Putting their stuff in the car's trunk, they drove until they reached the airport and parked next to the only other vehicle. It was a white van which probably belonged to Clint.

As Steve, Sam, Bucky and Andria got out of the car, so did Clint and Wanda.

"Cap," Clint said and shook hands with Steve.
"You know we wouldn't have called if we had any other choice."
"Hey, man, you're doing me a favour," he said and nodded towards Sam and Bucky, before his gaze landed on Andria who had a smirk on her face.

"Hey! Look at you!" He said, chuckling and she came closer to hug him.
"I haven't seen you in a year. Fifteen looks good on you," he joked, making her scoff.
"Yeah, I missed you too!"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa...Who did these?" He asked, pointing on the scratch on Andria's arm and the one on her head.

"Relax, it's nothing. This one was made by Wakanda's new king, the Black Panther apparently, and the other was...I don't know. Probably from an agent of some kind," Andria said calmly, lying about her head, not wanting to cause any fights between Clint and Bucky.

"Thanks for having my back," Steve said to Wanda, as Andria patted Clint's back, reassuring him she was okay and making eye contact with Bucky who had a thankful, yet ashamed look in his eyes.

She just nodded with a small smile and turned towards Wanda who shrugged her shoulders and spoke to Steve.

"It was time to get off my ass," she said and Andria smirked, hearing her words. She walked towards her friend, as Steve turned to Clint again.

The two girls hugged and Wanda was the first to speak.
"Thanks for telling Clint about me."
"I'd never leave you behind! You know that. Besides, I owe a debt!" Andria said, meaning Pietro's sacrifice to save her and Wanda gave her a sad smile, before Steve's voice drew their attention.

"How about our other recruit?"
"He's raring to go. Had to put a little coffee in him, but he should be good," Clint said, opening the van's side door to reveal a man sleeping.

As Clint slammed the door, the man, whose name was Scott, woke up and turned to look at the people staring at him.

"What time zone is this?" He asked Clint who just rolled his eyes.
"Come on, come on," He said and Scott got out of the van.

Clint pushed him a bit forward, the moment Scott noticed Steve. He stared at him in owe, his mouth hanging open.

"Captain America!" He exclaimed and proceeded to shake Steve's hand with a big smile on his face.

"Mr. Lang," Steve greeted him.
"It's an honour," Scott said, still shaking Steve's hand.
"I'm shaking your hand too long. Whoa, this is awesome!" He said again, letting go of Steve's hand and turning towards Wanda and Andria.

"Captain America! I know you guys too! You're great!" He said, pointing first at Steve and then at them.

Wanda smiled, though she had her eyebrows furrowed, while Andria just rolled her eyes and sighed.

Scott turned to Steve again, without even noticing Andria's expression and touched his shoulders, feeling his muscles.

"Jeez! Ah, look, I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super people, so...thanks for thinking of me!" He said, while Steve gave a 'really' look at Sam and then turned to Scott, smiling politely.

"Hey, man!" Scott said, looking at Sam.
"What's up, Tic-Tac?"
"Good to see you. Look, what happened last time when I-"
"It was a great audition, but it'll... it'll never happen again," Sam cut him off, chuckling, while Scott just stared at him in shock.

"They tell you what we're up against?" Steve asked him.
"Something about some psycho assassins?"
"We're outside the law on this one. So, if you come with us, you're a wanted man," Steve warned him.
"Yeah, well, what else is new?" Scott said sarcastically.

"We should get moving," Bucky informed them and Clint turned towards Steve.
"We got a chopper lined up," he said before a man speaking German sounded all over the airport, announcing that it was getting evacuated.

"They're evacuating the airport," Bucky said.
"Stark," Sam turned to Steve who nodded.
"Stark?" Scott repeated confused.
"Suit up," Steve said and everyone did as told.
