Gerard carried me into the house with Lyn-Z closely behind us. Mikey and Alicia's place wasn't too big or too small. It was just right. Not many houses made me feel comfortable right away, but Mikey's and Alicia's did. I felt safe, not that I didn't at Gerard and Lyn-Z's, but it took me a little bit to get used to their house. Here...it almost felt perfect. Maybe it was just because I was tired or something. Who knows?
"Mikey! Alicia! We're here!" Gerard called out as he turned to Lyn-Z. She unfolded my chair and Gerard sat me down in it. I sighed and he smiled sympathetically. "You heard the doctor. You fell and...I'm sorry sweetie. I just want you to be safe." I looked at him and nodded. "That's my girl." Mikey and Alicia came running down the stairs. And I mean running! Mikey attacked Gerard and Alicia attacked Lyn-Z. Whoa. So much love...yet...so violent. Gerard let out a groan and tried to push Mikey off of him. "Get off of me! Jesus Christ little bro!" Gerard got Mikey off of him and glared. Mikey let out a laugh and smiled at me.
"Hey. You must be Riley." He knelt down in front of my chair. I looked at him. OMG OMG OMG!!! Mikey was is talking to ME! YES!! (Did I mention I loved Mikey?) I nodded to him. "I'm Mikey. I might be your new uncle!" I smiled at the thought of it. Gerard Way as a Dad and Mikey Way as an Uncle. HOW COOL IS IT THAT?! Gerard got up off of the floor and walked over to us. "You ready to spend the day with me and Alicia?" I nodded. I looked at Gerard.
"Are you coming too?" He shook his head. What? I looked at him confused.
"Lyn-Z and I have to go fill out some paper work at the agency and we didn't think that you would want to come and I didn't feel comfortable leaving you by yourself so I asked Mikes if you could stay here for the day and he said yes," Gerard explained. I nodded and looked at Mikey.
"What're we doing?" I asked Mikey. He smiled.
"Well. Alicia and I picked out all kinds of movies and stuff. So we're going to have this HUGE movie marathon and she even convinced me to let you guys watch...The Notebook. Ugh." I smiled at that. "I take it you like that movie?" I nodded.
"I love that movie." He smiled.
"C'mon then. Alicia was making popcorn and we've got cookies and candy and pop and all kinds of stuff!" He was really excited about this. Gerard made a face as Mikey listed off all of the junk food.
"I don't want her eating nothing but candy all day," he butted in. Mikey looked at him and sighed.
"Fine. We'll take a break for lunch or something." I nodded.
"That sounds good."
