"Did you hear about what happened to the youngest prince?"

"How sad. He was about to succeed the throne, too."

"I heard we can't walk, let alone speak!"

"Those Chars always had it out for the Todoroki's. It's no wonder they went for the young prince while the kingdom only had one heir."

"I wonder what will happen now? I mean, what can Prince Todoroki do now? He can't lead our nation like this!"

"Apparently he was betrothed to the daughter of the Plosion Kingdom. It looks like their King will take over in his place."

"The Bakugo's? I've never heard of them before."

"I heard they live in the North. Apparently he's a strong warrior."

"And the Prince is okay with this?"

"What else can he do? Even if he wanted to protest, he can't even speak!"

Bakugo left the court and Camie was outside waiting for him.

"This wasn't what we had planned," she started."You were supposed to kill him."

"Plans change," Bakugo said simply, starting down the hall.

"Don't give me that crap." Camie followed after him."You couldn't do it, could you? I thought you said you could never fall in love with a man."

Bakugo halted, sharply turning around and looking at Camie."You best keep your mouth shut. Someone could hear you."

"So you do have feelings for him," Camie hissed back, voice barely a whisper."What about us? There's no way you don't feel anything for me!"

"I may be a terrible actor, Camie, but I'm at least good enough to fool you." He stared her in the eye."I only thing I feel towards you is indifference. Like all people, you are simply a tool."

"Y-You..." Camie was shocked, simply staring at him as he started back down the hall."You will be miserable, Katsuki! How do you ever hope to find happiness like this?!"

"Money and power," Bakugo waved a hand out towards her."Revenge is just the beginning, Camie."

Head hanging low, Camie cursed Bakugo's existence and her own foolishness.

She really did love her child.

Bakugo sat on a lavish throne which the killer of his parents once sat upon. After him, Prince Touya who was now dead, hung with a grand audience to watch him fall for his foolish yet righteous sins right next to his brother. It was the throne that Prince Todoroki was supposed to inherit, which his father had left for him, though he had never gotten the chance to take it as his own.

Now, instead, he watched from the floor below, not able to climb the steps to take what was rightfully his. He couldn't even use his voice to protest the crown that sat atop his ex-lovers head. He had been set up and destroyed in a way worse than death.

And as he looked upon Bakugo, who he had shared so much grief, pain, and love with, he felt nothing but rage.

The King just looked down at him with a cold face. His eyes were gleaming, challenging Todoroki to even dare come after him.

Swiftly and beautifully, he had taken everything from Todoroki. He had gained the power and riches he desired and now stood at the top of the world. People would look at him as a hero, a savior, and his misdeeds would be covered like his fathers bloody past.

The Todoroki name was no more and the Salvo Kingdom was destroyed.

Bakugo's revenge was complete.
