"What do you mean the long way around?!" Sunnypaw asked Bright and Fly in utter shock. It had taken nearly two days to get to them, now it would take five to get back.

"We must not travel through the other cats territories because we have bad experience with that." Fly said with a slight shrug.

Sunnypaw had woken up once they arrived in the cave where the two bears lived. To their suprise two more smaller bears were inside waiting anxiously for their parents. The first was a tom bear named Cly and the other was another tom named Torx. Right now they tumbled and snarled at  each other playfully.

"I don't think Ruinstar can wait much longer." Soaringkit said gently.

"Well we can't afford to travel the shot way my darling" Bright said gently.

Sunnypaw hissed in frustration. "I knew this was a bad idea. Ruinstar probably thinks were dead!" Sunnypaw meowed. Her summer sweet golden pelt shined, even in the darkness of the cave.

"Well what a great surprise it will be when she finds out your not!" Fly said with a laugh.

"We will leave tomorrow." Bright said. "Cly, Torx. I want you to rest, we have a long journey ahead of us and I want you to be prepared. Sunnypaw, Soaringkit, you two can come with me, we can go get something to eat." Bright meowed.

The bear stomped out of the safety of the den and Soaringkit and Sunnypaw followed after her. "I have a question." Soaringkit asked as the began to walk. "How does StarClan speak to you?" He asked.

"StarClan." Bright said, she seemed to be testing the word out on her tongue. "That is what you call your ancestors I presume?" She asked, not really waiting for an answer she continued. "About a week and a half..."

Sunnypaw stopped her. "A what?"

"A week." Bright repeated.

"What is a week?" Now Sunnypaw seemed to be testing the word.

"A week is seven days, or erm." She was at a lost for words. "Seven times the sun has risen."

"Seven Sunrises?!" Soaringkit said.

"Yes, we call that one week." Bright continued. "Anyway a week ago we seemed to hear distant voices. The language was familiar. Years ago, or I should say a long time ago, bears switched to the language because cats were not uncommon and they seemed to be the only animal with a brain we have come in contact with. Bear is more of a second language to us. I am getting away from topic again, so the voices were distant. We were not sure at first who they were. We looked all over for the voice before realizing it was not coming from something that walks on the ground, but rather from above. They were hard to hear, like they were a very long distance away. We had to listen hard to hear them, but they told us you were coming. Also that if we helped you they would be forever grateful and watch us through our lives, and our childrens."

Sunnypaw seemed to understand bits and pieces, but Soaringkit felt lost. "You speak so diffrent than any clan cat would ever." Was all she said.

"We are not clan cats as you can tell." The brown bear said.

They came upon a rushing river, fish seemed of plenty there. The dark figures moved through the water so easily that Soaringkit wished for a moment he could swim. Before Soaringkit could even think another thought Bright had caught a fish. She pulled it out and sliced it's neck with a single claw. It went limp and Bright smiled. "Do you know how to catch fish?" She asked.

Sunnypaw responded. "Sort of, we do not prefer to touch water as cats. We much prefer land animals rather than things that swim."

Bright nodded. "Very well, would you like me to catch a nice torut for you and Soaringkit?" She asked.

Sunnypaw nodded. "Oh yes please."

To the two cats a fish was a delightful treat, rare, but tasty. The stench was awful, the texture sort of odd, but once it was going down their throats it did not matter it was wonderful and juicy. Soaringkit's face lit up as Bright caught four more fish. She gripped them all in her mouth and Soaringkit could not help but laugh. She looked so mouse brained!

The three headed back and enjoyed there meals before falling into a deep sleep. They knew little about the struggle of RisenClan.
