Now the blame is on her

The Haven mourns with the queen's passing. Yuju helped Eunha to lay the queen down on her bed. Bloods are still on their bodies. Yuju held on the queen's hand and kisses her forehead while crying hard. She caressed the queen's face and hugs her tight. All of them, even the vampires and humans feel the Haven's pain.

Yerin caressed Yuju's back. She leans closer and turns Yuju's face to her and wipes her tears and kissed her forehead. She's in pain too. Her broken arm is still healing. But she needs to be strong for Yuju. Even Heechul sniffs and wipes his tears. He and the queen also spent times together. He knows that the late Lord and Queen treated him like a son too. He knows the Haven welcomed the vampires and treated them like their own kind too.

"Yuna.. we have to clean the queen's body and prepare her bed." Yerin utters as she wipes her tears.

Yuju shakes her head and couldn't utter a word because of so much crying. Umji's crying her heart out too. She's blaming herself for what happened. She feels responsible for what happened to the Haven. She moves closer to Yuju and grasps her shoulder.

"U-Unnie.. she's right. We have to let the queen go. I'm s-sorry. I'm really sorry..." Umji cries and covered her mouth.

"Our people needs you, Yuna-yah.." Eunha utters softly as she cries too. Sowon pulled her and hugs her.

"W-Why is i-it always like this...." Yuju mumbles and hugs her mother tight.

Yerin stood up straight and glanced to the people. She nodded to Sowon as she wipes her tears. Sowon nodded back and started to talk to the people to get out of the house for a while, leaving Yuju, Umji and Eunha inside.

The moment the people are outside, Eunha approaches Yuju and hugs her tight. Umji is just watching them then turns to the queen. She's still covering her mouth with her hands as she cries hard. Eunha turns to Umji and pulled her for a hug too. Yuju, eventhough she feels angry because of what happened, she can't fight anymore and the three hugs each other while mourning the queen's death.

The three are quietly cleaning the queen's body. Yuju went inside the queen's room and looked for a nice dress. She talked to her people about going to the Canus for the queen. The people started gathering some flowers for the queen's bed when they go to the Canus.

Yerin talked to Joy and Hayoung and to their men. Even Joy's father and his men are still there. Sowon talked to their kind, including the dhampirs, and told them about the Canus.

"We want to go with you, Yerin-ah.." Joy utters.

"I'm willing to go too. This time, I'm not gonna leave the two of you. I am so sorry for saying all those words before." Hayoung said and hugs Yerin. The girl nodded and smiled to her faintly.

"I am grateful you're both here. Thank you so much. Really.. for fighting with us until the end." Yerin said and her tears started to fall again. Joy immediately wipes her tears and hugs her. And so is Hayoung.

The sun started to rise. Joy and Hayoung are resting inside a room in the Haven. They both talked to Joy's father and his men that they will be joining Yerin in the Canus. Joy's father just nodded and he hugged Joy before going back to the city with his men and Joy's.

They will be going to the Canus today for the queen's mourning and cremation. Her urn will be brought back to the Haven and will join the Lord's and Soojung's urn in their house.

Yerin sits beside Yuju, who's sitting beside the queen's body with Umji and Eunha. Then Sowon and Sinb sits them too.

"I wasn't ready for it eventhough we knew that this will really happen." Yuju mumbles as she stares to her mother's face. Yerin caressed her back while staring at her wife as the girl cries.
