Jessica is sitting on a log while staring at the lake near the camp. She doesn't even know if it's a real lake of just water caused by the melting of ice of the north. But it's the least of her thoughts right now. She closed her eyes when she remembered her voice again.

She remained quiet eventhough she knows someone's watching her from behind. She took a deep breath and gazed.

"Why are you here?" she asks.

"I just brought the boy here. I'm about to go."

Jessica chuckled rudely. She bent her head down for a while then stared at the water again.

"Yeah.. that's what you're good at."

Taeyeon can feel her coldness through her voice.

"You know I had to. That's the only choice I had those times. It wasn't my choice by will. You know exactly wh— I get it. You don't have to explain. Well.. not anymore. I don't think I still need it."

"Jung Sooyeon-ssi!— Why?!" Jessica yelled back as she stood up and turned to Taeyeon completely.

But she felt something when Taeyeon uttered her real name again. After so many years. She's the only one who calls her by her name.

"What more could you possibly say?!"

"I get it." Taeyeon nodded.

"I understand that you're mad— Of course I am! I am ever since! Ever since you left without saying a single thing! Ever since you left me hanging! I am angry! But it doesn't matter anymore, right? You'll still go anyway."

"You could die that time! You knew it! Everybody here knew about the situation! Do you really think.. I wanted to go away? I didn't! But I had to. I had to go so you could live. I did it for you, Sooyeon-ssi!"

"And you know how I've felt for you before! And you still chose to leave!"

Taeyeon's mouth agaped and remembered everything. The days they'd spent together. The things they did. The moments they shared and those simple acts of kindness towards each other. She feels bad for leaving even until now.

"I know how feel— Felt. I said felt." Jessica cuts her and turned her back again to the girl and bit her lower lip hard that it almost bleed. Taeyeon's chest got tight.

"I'm sorry."

Jessica froze.

"I'm really sorry for leaving you like that."

Jessica closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"And you're going to leave again." she mumbles.

"I have to."

"Of course."

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay. You don't have to apologize."

Jessica felt a nudge on her arm and turned. She saw Taeyeon giving her something.

"What's that? I have my own." Jessica took out her phone and showed it to Taeyeon.

The girl chuckles and shook her head as she giggles.

"I'm not giving it to you. I want you to save your number."

Jessica looked at her while arching her brows.

"Why?"

"So we could keep in touch when we go back to Seoul. Are you stupid?"

"Yah!" Jessica furrowed her eyebrows. Taeyeon just laughed at her.

"Come on. Save your number. I'll call you when I get back. I have to go because my business is waiting for me but I'm back in Seoul for good."
